Truth about death of Liu Chengjun, an obsessed Falun Gong practitioner
Adjust font size:   Close

Liu Chengjun was sentenced to 19 years' imprisonment, with five years' deprivation of political rights in September 2002 by Changchun Intermediate People's Court for the guilt of making use of the cult organization to sabotage the implementation of law and destroy radio and TV transmission facilities. Liu was weak and sick when he was in prison and the prison authority had diagnosed and treated him for many times. But Liu refused to have medical treatment and even refused to take food, resulting in worsening illness. Later on, Liu was successively sent to the Central Hospital in Jilin City, Central Hospital of the Jilin Province Prison Administration Bureau and China-Japan Friendship Hospital affiliated to Jinlin University for treatment. He died of respiratory circulating failure, hypovolemic shock and acute renal failure on December 26 in the hospital. His parents went to the hospital to see him when he was seriously ill and they had no objections to his cause of death.

It is completely demagogic for "Falun Gong" to hype up Liu Chengjun's death as a result of "cruel torment" by the Chinese Government.
