Many units and residents in Beijing have lately received harassing calls deep at nights, with a tape saying that Falun Gong practitioners have suffered persecution, according to reports of Beijing Morning Post.

The investigation showed that the harassing calls, which took place since the latter half of 2001, were made by overseas Falun Gong members via IP cards. This year has seen overseas Falun Gong followers committed many such offences by way of high technologies.
