● Yang Qiugui committed suicide by jumping down from a high building in Frankfurt, Germany. Yang Qiugui, male, from Aiguo Village, Zhongtong Town, Yujiang County, Jiangxi Province, graduated in 1995 from East China University of Science and Technology and had been awarded the university's special scholarships. In October 1996, he went to UK and studied for his doctorate of automation control in the University of Glasgow. Yang learned to practice Falun Gong through the Internet in 1997. On May 30, 1998, he made a special trip to Frankfurt, Germany from UK to participate in the European Fa Conference. On June 1, two days after he attended the conference by Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, Yang jumped down from the second floor of a local hotel and died at the age of 26.
● Feng Lili, an American Falun Gong follower died of rejecting medical treatment. On June 22, 2006, Feng Lili, the Falun Gong backbone died of pancreatic cancer in Houston, United States. Feng advocated all the time that Falun Gong had magic effect on human body. She was regarded as a leader of Falun Gong in medical profession. According to insiders, she was found suffering from pancreatic cancer as early as 2003, but she took it as a test of Karma, and firmly believed that Falun Gong would enable her to recover.
● A Falun Gong follower committed homicide and fried the corpse in Netherlands. In October 2006, a Falun Gong practitioner Longlong (sound) axed a 22-year-old Dutchman to death, cut or sawed the body into pieces, and picked up the flesh. In the following days he fried the body in a pan. Sing Tao Daily said that the suspect became fascinated with Falun Gong after he arrived in Holand in August 2003, and claimed to be a Falun Gong follower. He often practiced Falun Gong by sitting in meditation at home. In this period, his paranoid and fantasy tendency became more obvious. The suspect confessed that there was a spiritual power asking him to kill. He wanted to drive the devil out of the flesh by dismembering the body and frying it. Judges cited a report by the Dutch Ministry of Justice that the suspect claimed there was no rancour between him and the deceased, but he had to kill the young man, because he believed his God and the God of the dead conflicted 500 years ago. The Public Journal in Holand reported that the suspect, prior to the attack, had consulted with some fellow practitioners on the killing. A court in Hague ruled in June 2007, the man who was suspected of "homicide and frying corpse," was mentally ill and sentenced to receive compulsory psychiatric treatment.
● A German Falun Gong follower died of rejecting medical treatment. On New Year's Day of 2007, a Falun Gong backbone Zhu Genmei died of diabetes in Germany because she was obsessed with Falun Gong and refused medical treatment. Her diagnosis was confirmed, but she persisted in cultivation for curing illness. The Germany doctor pointed out that Zhu died of fatal blood infection because of not being treated in time.
● A Japanese Falun Gong follower became mentally deranged as a result of long-term practicing. Horie Yoko, a crazy Falun Gong follower in Japan, was born in March 1977. In September 1999, she began to practice Falun Gong. By the end of 2006, she began to manifest mild symptoms of schizophrenia. Since then she had been practicing at home, and rarely participated in public activities. From 2007, she frequently practiced day and night without eating and drinking; she also suffered from speech disorder, and she even couldn't recognise her own family members. She showed obvious intermittent symptoms of mental disorder. After her mother sent her to a mental hospital in Osaka for treatment, her condition was improved for a time. However, Horie Yoko practiced Falun Gong again immediately after leaving the hospital, and finally developed into mental disorders.
● A Chinese woman working in UK was under persecution of Falun Gong for two years. From February 2004 to December 2005, Rong Na, a woman form Jilin of China, working in the UK, was illegally controlled by the local Falun Gong organization. Falun Gong forced her to distribute Falun Gong leaflets and propaganda materials, or practice Falun Gong with her fellows in front of the Chinese Embassy to the UK. Falun Gong threatened that if she refused to do so, she would suffer from hunger and thirst. Rong Na was physically and mentally devastated, and almost lost her life.
● A young man in the United States went mad because of practicing Falun Gong. On October 26, 1999, a young man named Lin Shufeng went mad as a result of practicing Falun Gong. He went from Miami to his uncle's home in New York, and boasted how his Gong powers were amazing: He could cure his relatives' illness by a telephone call although they lived far away in China. And he also offered to cure his uncle's illness. Later, he stripped his upper garment, smashed with a club all the furniture in his uncle's home and rushed out with the club in hand. Required by his relatives, people of the local Chinese community looked for him everywhere. The next day, they were informed at last that he was taken to a police hospital. ● In Canada, Falun Gong followers surrounded and hit those who had quitted Falun Gong. In November 2001, a Chinese Canadian He Bing (Catherine) published in Chinese Press her personal experience, and what she had seen and heard when she was with Falun Gong practitioners in Canada. On December 1, she was surrounded by dozens of Falun Gong followers on her way to the general office of the newspaper attending a forum on victims of Falun Gong. In the quarreling followed, Mr. Zhou, head of the Falun Gong Assistant Station in Ottawa, hit her violently with a camera. The back of her left hand, the middle finger and index finger all turned red and swollen. And it was diagnosed by a local hospital as the soft tissue injury.
