The Falun Dafa Research Society (FDRS) was the general headquarters of Falun Gong in China. Li Chang, Ji Liewu, Yu Changxin, and Wang Zhiwen were key members. They were sentenced to prison in December 1999 for organizing cult and using it to impede law enforcement, to cause death, and to obtain national secrets illegally.

Li Chang: The fraudulence of Falun Gong lies in that Li Hongzhi's words are different from his deeds. It is very sad for Falun Gong to become political organization.

Ji Liewu: I become more and more shocked by the anti-social, anti-human and anti-scientific behaviors performed by Falun Gong. This makes it clear to people that those sayings to be good persons, to drive away diseases and to become stronger were only covers. To abide by laws is only a measure of expediency. And to save others and cultivation are only baits.

Yu Changxin: Li Hongzhi is a hypocrite and swindler. He spreads Falun Gong for political purpose. He wants to dominate the society. Li Hongzhi will come to no good end.

Wang Zhiwen: Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong instigate followers to oppose the Party and the Government, which have done great harm to the social stability. Falun Gong confuses the right and wrong. He puts his fallacies over all sciences and boastes to be the Almighty Savior.
