"Xi Yangyang and Hui Tailang", a popular Chinese made cartoon TV series, will land on international market on July 5, 2009, China Radio International reports.

The over 500-episode hot cartoon, which has been dominating Chinese market over four years, will gain international attention by landing in 13 Asian countries and regions the coming Sunday.

With the inspiration of images originated from Chinese culture, the cartoon tells the stories between a sheep family and a wolf family. The struggle between the two families was demonstrated in a very casual and humorous way. It not only conveys intense conflicts between the two groups of animals but also reflect some current hot topics that people are concerned with.

The cartoon series with humor and wisdom are not only welcomed by kids but also by young people. An online survey shows that over sixty percent of white-collar workers love them and consider the series a good way to reduce pressure.

Experts estimated that the demand of Chinese-made cartoons is 250 thousand minutes per year, which is twice as much as the current production ability.
