3.1 "Soul ascension" after "Consummation"
Li Hongzhi says:
"You are transforming your innate body. While your body is transforming and human cells are being gradually replaced by high-energy matter...When it's finally completely replaced by high-energy matter, your body will have been entirely transformed into another kind of physical body. That kind of body, like I said, will have gone beyond the Five Elements, it won't be within the Five Elements anymore. And your body will never degenerate."
"It's (Gong) carried directly on your master soul, it comes with you when you're born and it goes with you when you die...In other words, what you give up are bad things...you gain...your level is raised, you eventually obtain a True Fruition, and you reach Perfection – what it resolves is the fundamental problem."
"A person's soul doesn't perish."
"The body that we see in this material dimension – dies, yet none of the bodies existing in other dimensions die....When a person dies, only the layer of the largest molecules – the human shell or this layer of molecules on the surface – dies and falls away from this dimension. How could your real body that's composed of microscopic matter die?"
"Even if a Dafa cultivator truly casts off his human skin during the persecution, what awaits him is still Consummation."
"In this cosmos, 99.9 percent of the numerous cultivation ways in the past and heavenly paradises in different cosmic bodies didn't need bodies. Not everyone thinks so favorably about having a flesh body. Many heavenly paradises absolutely will not let you bring a body when you return there. If you took your body along, you would be disrupting the Fa there."
Hearing that by cultivation, their bodies are transformed into "the body that will never degenerate," and they do not need bodies to reach Consummation, getting rid of body is a kind of relief, what on earth the disciples need to fear when they committ suicide by jumping off the building, jumping into the river or fast? On January 23, 2001, seven Falun Gong practitioners from Henan Province including Chen Guo and Liu Siying carried out self-immolation together in Tian'anmen Square, resulting to two dead and three serious injured. Liu Baorong, one of the participators said: "'Consummation' means 'going up to the heavenly paradise,' which is a very good thing and will happen instantly, without any pain...(The heavenly paradise is) covered by gold, the roads are covered by gold, the birds are made of gold, everything are made of gold including human bodies." Chen Guo said: "At that time, I don't fear self-immolation, cause I thought 'Consummation' would be achieved, and heavenly paradise could be reached. According to Zhuan Falun, the heavenly paradise is extremely beautiful." When the nurses in the hospital asked Liu Siying: "How could one reach heavenly paradise?" Liu Siying replied: "Dropping the flesh body, the soul will go up there." Yet the mother Liu Chunling and daughter Liu Siying finally failed to achieve Consummation by self-immolation. Li Hongzhi promises that:
"In our practice system, I use the method of Ascension in Broad Daylight for those who are to go to the Falun Paradise...Many of you think with a human mindset, 'Oh, this Ascension in Broad Daylight is awesome. People will see me fly up.' You are thinking about divine matters with a human mindset, and that is totally unfitting. Put another way, at the time of Consummation there will naturally be a form for it. I can tell you, though, that with so many people reaching Consummation this time, I will definitely leave a profound lesson for the people who didn't believe. So when my disciples Consummate in the future it will very likely be a magnificent sight, one that human society will never forget."
"I also want to bring humankind a magnificent scene at the time of your Consummation...Have all Dafa disciples, regardless of whether they need bodies or not, elevate their bodies into the sky and then fly away; those who don't need bodies will have their bodies go through Light-Transformation in the air...People don't believe in gods, so let gods truly manifest before people."
"At the very moment of death they did not feel scared; on the contrary, they suddenly felt a sense of relief, with some sort of subconscious excitement. Some people felt free from the bondage of the body and could levitate very lightly and wonderfully."
Believing that after Consummation one may levitate very lightly and wonderfully, free from the bondage of the body, seen by everyone in the world, Dafa disciples dare to do whatever they can for this magnificent scene of Consummation. However, more than a dozen years have passed since Li Hongzhi first mentioned his Consummation, who ever has seen this magnificent scene of ascension in broad daylight? Which one of the Dafa disciples has ever enjoyed the levitation lightly and wonderfully?!
Long Gang who once lived in Shuangshi Town of Chongqing, dreaming of "Consummation," had always said that the earth was going to be destroyed and he would ascend in broad daylight. On early dawn of July 17, 1997, holding his 6-year-old child, murmuring the lections, Long broke loose from his family, ran to the river and jumped down the tone bridge. His family and neighbors tried to save them. The son was saved, but Long Gang could never be saved.
Cui Qiaoyun, who once has been a Falun Gong practitioner, said, "Now I realize that the so-called 'ascension in broad daylight' was a sheer trick. If Li Hongzhi were really such a rare 'Buddha' rare to see in a thousand years, if he could go 'ascension,' he would not have to hide in the United States to eke out a living. So many years have passed, but is there ever a Dafa practitioner ascension in daylight?" (Please refer to Case 12)
Li Hongzhi says:
"As Dafa is being cultivated more deeply, many disciples have successively attained Enlightenment or achieved Gradual Enlightenment."
"The Falun Paradise is even more beautiful."
"In the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, the trees are made of gold, and so are the ground, birds, flowers, and houses. Even the Buddha-body is golden and shiny."
There comes the fabricated scene of "Another Space" and "Falun Paradise." But how could it be proved? Or is there anybody who could see it? Then the "Consummation in another space" will always be a scene that could never be seen or toughed by anybody at all.
Well, it could be said that some Dafa disciples reached the Consummation according to Li Hongzhi.
On July 4, 1998, Chen Yong, vice director of Hainan General Training Station of Falun Gong, and seven other key members had a traffic accident on their way from Haikou to Sanya to spread Falun Gong with Chen Yong and six other people dead and Zhang Yijun seriously wounded. Li Hongzhi gave a holographic letter to Jiang Xiaojun, director of Hainan General Training Station of Falun Gong, saying: "When Consummation is reached, flesh body is no longer needed in that world...Only Dafa disciples who go to the Falun Paradise may carry flesh bodies with them. Master knows your heart. Actually when you see my letter, the eight disciples of mine have reached Consummation in their own different world."
