Falun Gong Swallows Zhang Yidong's Happiness and Life
On January 31, 2008, an occasion that all families were joyfully welcoming the new spring festival, Zhang Yidong passed away at her age of 39 with suffering the torment of sickness at her home in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province.
When recalling Zhang's life, her elder sister Zhang Yimin felt so resentful that she would condemn Falun Gong to the world, the evil cult, damaged her sister's happy life, Li Hongzhi, the cheater, ruined her sister's precious life.
Zhang Yidong worked at Jingjiang General Merchandise Purchase Supply Station, who had a harmonious family and a lovable daughter, and lived happily. In 1997, Zhang Yidong began to practice Falun Gong by someone's introduction, gradually she was obsessed by the so-called "truthfulness, compassion, tolerance," "eliminating karma and diseases," "Consummation and ascension" and heresies advocated by Falun Gong, and then she was enticed into evil abyss step by step. At that time Zhang Yidong was deeply obsessed to Falun Gong, copying out Li Hongzhi's Zhuan Falun for hundreds of times by hand, and the handwritten notebooks piled up high. After practicing, she held Falun Gong books all the day neither went to work nor took care of her family, and the only thing she cared about was her own "Consummation." After the government banned Falun Gong, regardless of dissuasion from family, and her daughter's kneeling down and begging, she went to Beijing to "safeguard Fa" for three times and was brought back by public security. Thus, she broke hearts of her family and for this reason her husband divorced her.In 2003, she fell in love with a man from Zhejaing Brovince, the manied him and moved to Zhejiang
In summer 2007, Zhang Yidong came back her hometown to visit relatives, her sister Zhang Yimin saw she was so weak and seemed sick, and advised her to see a doctor, but she turned a deaf ear. In January 2008, Zhang Yimin suddenly received a call telling her sister was caught uterine cancer and sent to hospital for treatment. It was like a bolt from the blue, Zhang Yimin and the family hurriedly went to Huzhou People Hospital, Zhejiang Province. In the hospital, the doctor said her sister's sickness had already worsened to terminal stage of cancer, complaining why not sent the patient to the hospital earlier.
Zhang Yimin was in a very bad mood, asking Yidong why she didn't see a doctor earlier. Under strict inquiry of sister, Zhang Yidong told the fact hesitatively. She did not give up Falun Gong in heart, taking for granted the practitioners would not fall ill, even they fell sick, they could get rid of karma and sickness without seeing a doctor.
Zhang Yidong's sick condition rapidly worsened, who was dying after only two dozens days. In a severe condition, she was crying and said, "Sister, after I leave the hospital, I wish I could live a normal life."

Trying 'Fa' Personally, Falun Gong Makes Him Permanently Disabled
A former addict of Falun Gong Ma Xiangjin, at age 33 then, lived in Cuijiayu Town, Qishui County, Shandong Province. He used to trust protection from Li Hongzhi's law bodies to be perfect and ascend to heaven, so that he tried the Fa in order to show the miraculous mighty of Dafa disciple by jumping off the building and broke his right leg which became permanently disabled, and lost normal labor abilities.
In 1998, Ma Xiangjin who was a construction worker in Qingdao was introduced to cultivate Falun Gong. After reading Li Hongzhi's Zhuan Falun, he felt the "Law Bodies," "Falun," "salvation" and "Consummation" too miraculous. Li Hongzhi said, "As long as you persevere in cultivation, my Law Bodies will protect you until you reach Consummation." Because of this, Ma Xiangjin believed Li Hongzhi's law bodies would protect disciples at any time. It planted potential crisis for his boldly jumping off the building later!
From then on, Ma Xiangjin decided to grasp the very rare chance of cultivation, then advocated Fa through unwilling to sweaty work or worldly affairs, delaying to work, ignoring his parents at home completely, and discarding his intimate girl friend. When China government banned Falun Gong, he thought the government did wrong to Falun Gong and decided to fight for justice for Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong.
On July 23, 1999, Ma Xiangjin discarded his construction work in Qingdao and went back to his hometown Qishui County, then gathered a group of fellow practitioners to go to Tian'anmen Square holding the banner. Thus, they were deported to hometown due to in breach of laws. In order to save him, the local government sent him to the Psychological Center to receive psychological coach. At the center, he had always refused to receive the psychological coach, continued to encourage himself with Li Hongzhi's words, "My Law Bodies will protect the practitioners till they reach Consummation," "no matter they were put in jail or lose their lives by insisting on practicing Dafa, they are all consummating themselves."
Ma Xiangjin, standing on the 4th-storey balcony of the center, felt his level of cultivation was very high, if jumping off, he would have no problem, even he died, which was Consummation. Thus, he wrote a piece of paper, with the content that it aimed to let the world see the mighty of Dafa disciple, and had nothing to do with others. He jumped from the 4th-storey balcony, fortunately some basked quilt buffered his body, and he was still fallen to the ground to a pulp!
Unconscious Ma Xiangjin was sent to hospital rapidly for first aid treatment. When he came around, touching the right leg already of comminuted fracture, unexpectedly he didn't show a little sorrow. At that time he thought that was the "hurdle" set by the Master, not to mention human body was merely a "stinking skin-bag," so, he still expected the merciful Master to bring him to Consummation.
As he believed "eliminating karma" and refused to cooperate with the doctors, his wound was healed very slowly. Several months later, he was still very weak and couldn't stand on right leg, so as to delay the good chance of recovery, and lead to permanent disability.

Li Hongzhi's 'Dropping out Fame, Interest and Emotion' Ruins Him
A former Falun Gong addict Guo Rong, was an employee of Yanan Civil Airport, ShaanxiProvince. In 1996, he and some classmates practiced Falun Gong together. After reading Zhuan Falun, he was obsessed and regarded Li Hongzhi as the supreme deity and Buddha, and regarded Zhuan Falun as a revelation to send human to heaven, regarded practice "perfectly" to become deity as the supreme pursuit, and regarded "dropping out fame, interest and emotion" as critical test, and trapped deeper and deeper in the bog pool of Falun Gong.
Guo Rong, now who has completed awakened, said during his obsession to Falun Gong, Li Hongzhi's dropping out fame, interest and emotion ruined him and allured him do wrong in ten aspects.
First, he stopped taking care of his parents. Before practicing Falun Gong, he was filial, considering their health and comfort, taking good care of them every day. But after practicing, he took no notice of them, let alone to care their living. They said indignantly, "Falun Gong has deprived us of our son."
Second, he became estranged from his wife, even like a stranger.
Third, he didn't care about his son. when his child fell ill, he thought he was "paying back karma," who needn't see a doctor or fear any accident, because his whole life had been arranged in another space.
Fourth, he no longer contacted relatives.
Fifth, he didn't join beneficial activities organized by his classmates.
Sixth, he stopped showing mercy to beggars as he used to do. Since he was convinced of what Li Hongzhi said, he lost all compassion and saw the plight of beggars as "karma" that they had committed in the previous life, and they ought to suffer to repay the karmic debts. Therefore, he no longer gave them anything or help, believing it was the best for them.
Seventh, hestopped making donation to victims of natural disasters. He had been always ready and supportive when the Airport organized donation activities, contributing money or other stuff. But since he believed in Li Hongzhi, he became as cold-hearted as Li and thought the victims deserved to the plight which was a divine retribution for their karma committed in the last existence. So he never gave a single dime again when called on to make a donation. Not even for the worst floods ever occurred along Yangtze River and Songhua River in 1998.
Eighth, he didn't take part in the national higher education exams for self-taught adults. Before practicing Falun Gong, he was making efforts to pass exams for adults to gain a college diploma. He was also working hard in the hope of getting a promotion to section chief from team leader that he had served as for years. But he gave up all those hopes after practicing Falun Gong, regarding them as pursuit of fame and material interest. He became lethargic and degenerate, clinging to the illusion that he might become an immortal someday.
Ninth, he didn't work hard. In the Airport, his main duties were fire controlling and airstrip guarding. He used to be a conscientious employee, but after he started practicing Falun Gong, he shrank from stopping his colleagues when they acted in breach of discipline, even though it was incumbent upon him as a team leader. He simply thought of such action as "committing karma," which was predestined by god. If he had prevented them, he would have been "immoral" by violating Falun Discipline.
Tenth, he stopped striving to be a model employee. He was unconcerned about the campaign to select model employees through public appraisal, and found such things as rendering meritorious service, striving to be model employee etc, loathsome.
Guo Rong said: "The 'dropping out fame, interest and emotion' trumpeted by Li Hongzhi is indeed a pernicious lie that turned me as hard as nails. And I came within an inch of becoming a good-for-nothing!"

Male-Female Dual Cultivation Spoils Her Happiness
In June 1994, Xiaomei walked to the palace of marriage, a perfect match, and happy life. After a daughter was born, Xiaomei felt she became fat. Just then she was introduced to Falun Gong, and soon allured by the fabrication of Li Hongzhi in Zhuan Falun "After our Falun Dafa students cultivate a while the way they look changes a lot. Their skin becomes delicate and fair, it glows with health...This is all common...you truly do a dual practice of nature and longevity you'll naturally get that, and I can guarantee you won't need to do facials." She was like obtain the treasure and would not give up forever.
After a period of cultivation, Xiaomei felt her skin became tender and shine, which strengthened her determination of cultivation. Especially when she knew she could even cultivate herself a deity, she again felt fortune's favor. From then on, she dared not to be remiss and regarded the Master Li Hongzhi's words as a decree to strictly follow.
In Zhuan Falun Li Hongzhi said: "You are unable to practice cultivation if you don't abandon sentiment and desire or don't give up the ordinary heart. Right in the midst of ordinary people you have to get rid of every bit of all those bad thoughts you have, and that's the only way you can improve and go up. You can only be elevated and go to the Paradise after you abandon all affection and desire in the world." He also said in Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York: "If someone can break out of affection, then that person is divine." Those words were a head-on blow on Xiaomei and plunged her into a tortuous dilemma: if she rejected affections from her husband, were they still the couple? If she didn't, she cannot do real cultivation.
When Xiaomei was hesitant, she also read such words of Li'sTeaching the Fa at the Meeting with Asia-Pacific Students, "The truth is, you're no longer one of the ordinary human beings, and you couldn't even go back anymore, you really can't. The difference between you and ordinary people has grown downright large." Associated with his other words in Zhuan Falun about couple's life, "From a high-level perspective, everyday people are playing with mud while in society without realizing that it is dirty. They are playing with mud on earth," she was at a loss.
Then, Xiaomei thought she had already be a deity instead of human, how could deities "play" with ordinary person? Moreover, she couldn't practice with a heart of "lust." Later in Li Hongzhi's Real Practice, she read: "You don't let go of those filthy things that you cling to in this filthy world, and you even agonize over the most trivial losses. As a matter of fact, when you agonize over infringements upon your reputation, self-interest, and feelings among everyday people, it already indicates that you cannot let go of ordinary human attachments. You must remember this: Cultivation itself is not painful – the key lies in your inability to let go of ordinary human attachments. Only when you are about to let go of your reputation, interests, and feelings will you feel pain." Reading this, Xiaomei thought her suffering originated from her attachment, so she did not care her husband's feelings any more and separated with him decisively.
At that time, as a wife Xiaomei felt remorseful and uneasy after all for rejecting her husband to be close to her, especially seeing her husband's busy figure inside and outside home, and his blue eyes, many times she wanted to nestle up to his arms with soft smile and enjoy his care. But Li Hongzhi's "Cultivating the heart, severing desires, discarding attachments," "What do the old forces and the old cosmos see as the gravest thing? Lust...In other words, these things are extremely serious to them. So the old forces and all of the gods in that cosmos will not defend anyone who violates the prohibition on this, anyone who doesn't do well in this regard; in fact they will push you downwards," and the collection of papers in Minghui cultivating the Heart and Severing Desires, which made Xiaomei "enlightened" suddenly, if she didn't set down lust and desire, it would be sure to influence cultivation and even be caught into hell and never emerge. Therefore Xiaomei told herself should give up the temptation of lust thoroughly instead of cooking up excuses and should completely disenchant her balk but the considerate husband was so alluring.
As a result, in order to mortify the desire, Xiaomei selected to run away from home.
Xiaomei who was an apple of her parents' eye from childhood, and after marriage, was coddled by husband, so that she was too dependent to feel helpless when she was alone outside. She couldn't cook a delicious dish. Soon Xiaomei followed a male practitioner, as co-cultivators, they didn't guard or care anything. The male practitioner helped her to rent a house near his, except sleep, and they stay together for cultivation, eating and speading the Fa. Xiaomei lived an appearing happy life because she needn't be baffled by her husband's love. However, in the deep night, singly lying in the lone house, she was somewhat fearful, and what's more was missing, missing her clement and considerate husband, missing cheerful, loving daughter. However, such words of Li Hongzhi as "Those who are attached to affection for family will definitely be burned, entangled, and tormented by it. Pulled by the threads of affection and plagued by them throughout their lives, they will find it too late to regret at the end of their lives," and "If this sentimentality is not relinquished, you will be unable to practice" always hindered her way to go back home. A few days later, their money was running out, the practitioner proposed to share one house to reduce the house rent charge. Then they lived together for nearly three months.
One day, the practitioner said solemnly: "let's begin double cultivation, so that will shorten the time to reach Consummation." Before Xiaomei could respond, he read the narration of Li Hongzhi in Zhuan Falun: "In the community of cultivators, there is a cultivation practice called double cultivation of a man and a woman. It is for collecting yin to supplement yang and vice versa with mutual complement for mutual cultivation, enabling the goal of balancing yin and yang to be achieved. Because a human body inherently has yin and yang, with the interactions of yin and yang, it can itself achieve a balance of yin and yang," "We've discovered that nowadays a lot of men have female master souls, while a lot of women have male master souls. That fits exactly with the celestial phenomenon in which the yin and yang are reversed, where yin is prospering and yang is in decline, as Taoists put it." And "When conjoining the hands, the left hand is on top for males, while the right hand is on top for females. Why is that? It's because the male body is one of pure yang and the female body is one of pure yin. In order to attain a balance of yin and yang, males should suppress the yang and give play to the yin, while females should suppress the yin and give play to the yang," also saying "Buddha has no thought, and Buddhas are all stark-naked," Xiaomei felt muddled.
Xiaomei left home for the purpose of asceticism, but now she was asked for "double cultivation of a man and a woman." Xiaomei was confused so that she rejected him. The practitioner seemed to read Xiaomei's thought, then persuaded her: "We are both cultivator, not 'ordinary people', 'ordinary people' are dirty to do this but we are double cultivated for Consummation, we are great." Afterwards he told her the story of Dafa disciples' group cultivation in some place saying they elevated very fast after that.
Aiming for "Consummation," Xiaomei discarded all thoughts and finally agreed to conduct "double cultivation" with him...
