It is purposely hatched that activities within Falun Gong organization are all arranged to the advantage of Li Hongzhi and his evil cult. Based on the cases mentioned above, our readers can easily find out the ritual functions by simple induction.
The Falun Gong practitioners, trying every possible way to do their cultivation, are all fooled around by Li Hongzhi in the end. The practitioners have been told the benefits of studying the Fa time and again, so they set up their cultivation confidence by and by.
In Awaken to Reality after "Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts" Failed, Gong Xiaonan the victim told us: "I was convinced of the power of 'sending forth righteous thoughts' and became totally faithful to Falun Gong." And Cui Qiaoyun, the victim mentioned in My Experience of "Ascension" also told her story: "(The study team is) building up our determination to practice Falun Gong time and again." Both of them were poisoned by the Fa study.
Li Hongzhi advertised to his disciples: "After that when [more] mistakes are found, again there's repentance, and then again they behave according to higher standards. Think about it everyone: cultivation is in fact to cultivate one's heart. Isn't what they do cultivation of the heart? Ultimately they become better and better, and do better and better. Haven't they then achieved the standard required by that paradise of theirs? Isn't that Consummation? ... Our Dafa can save all sentient beings. How high a person cultivates is up to the person himself. That's because Dafa is the Fa of the cosmos and has created living environments for all beings in the cosmos. It can bring you back to the original position."
Since there is such a wonderful thing as cultivation in the world, no wonder the disciples jump to their feet and try to be the first to study the Fa. Yet something even more wonderful is waiting for them: "Because you are, after all, magnificent cultivators and are different from everyday people."
"If tomorrow is Consummation, today you still won't know it, and suppose you're thinking about opening a business, then just go ahead and do it. But I'll harmonize everything for you. Don't think about anything! Just do whatever you're supposed to do."
Not a single Dafa disciple would like to give up practice under such temptations.
Cultivation practices can also intensify Dafa disciples' emotions about Falun Gong, making them more and more dependent upon Falun Gong. As the victim mentioned in The "Amulet" that Harms or Even Kills People, Falun Gong desperately advocates deceiving ideas such as "Saving the sentient beings"; "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are good"; "Falun Dafa is good" ; "Seeing is predestined" and "Gaining is blessing," etc. Li Hongzhi advertises his books: "Yet this book is different, as it provides guidance for people's cultivation. If you want to improve yourselves in this Fa, you have to keep reading the book. Only then can it guide your cultivation." To read his book, the disciples become more depend on their Master.
In addition, Li purposely deifies himself: "Right now I'm responsible only for cultivators. I'm not involved in anything other than cultivation and I won't answer questions outside the scope of cultivation."
"In the future I'll teach you the highest Fa. I'll talk about how the cosmos came into being, and this question will then be discussed. It's still a bit early now to talk about it."
"If you are able to step out of the reasoning and attachments of ordinary people, then you are a god."
Li Hongzhi's words tell his followers that what they have learned is just the ABC of Falun Dafa. To learn more profoundly, the Dafa disciples have no other choice but to persist in Falun Gong practice, which makes them even more dependent on Li Hongzhi and his Falun Dafa.
The ultimate goal of the activities of Falun Gong is to build up the extreme personal worship of Li Hongzhi. It is very common that, "after reading Zhuan Falun, many Dafa disciples regard their Master as the Buddha who answers to every one's plea; regard the book Zhuan Falun as the great Bible which can send off people to Paradise. Their only pursuit in this world is to cultivate themselves into Immortals."
Li Hongzhi also meticulously boasts his magical powers, "The cosmos is just so immense, so once Master talks about it, the talk will get very broad and high-level…I don't teach the Fa arbitrarily, I teach them, also, the Truth, and I teach specifically regarding these things....What's meant by 'the Buddha's boundless grace'… When you've succeeded in cultivation the beings of the future will know about your infinite Buddha's grace. But the people of the future won't know about me, only you can know about me, and that's because with sentient beings, they don't need to know – and actually they are not worthy to know – and it's enough for them to know you. Originally no one knew about me anyway, and in the future they still won't know."
"Before, when I discussed enlightening, I expounded on a heavenly secret nobody had disclosed: 'Cultivation depends on oneself, while gong depends on one's master.'"
In the book named Hong Yin, Li Hongzhi hints, in so-called "poetries" such as the Master-Disciple Grace, the Lord Buddha, and the Presiding Over Heaven and Earth,that he is "the omnipotent" god.
