Why is Falun Gong so afraid of 'New York Times'

Recently, various medias under Falun Gong's flag, which have all along avoided confronting the western mainstream society, have suddenly attacked "New York Times" article after article. Here are partial titles: "New York Times twists the Charming Party to Produce Exactly the Opposite Result the 14th is full (picture)", "President of Transportation Company: I would pay no attention to whatever it(New York Times) said (picture)", "New York Times twists the Charming Party New York people feel ignominious (picture)". Falun Gong delegates each professional writer at political forum, who is beyond the border, to act as soon as one gets the news and goes all out to reprint, as if the paper has become an irreconcilable enemy of Falun Gong.

How can "New York Times" make Falun Gong be so nervous?

Because, on February 6, this newspaper published an article with the title "A Chinese Culture Performance Which Some People Watch With difficulty". This article started from the scene situation, exposing Falun Gong wantonly to create a so-called "the New Chinese Party". The scene was lonely and the audience left the spot midway in abundance. But this is not the key, what's more, the article pertinently points out that this so-called party is not so-called bringing honor to the Chinese culture, but is planned with utmost care by Falun Gong, hiding the real purpose without proclaiming beforehand, and holding a propaganda activity with "smuggled goods".

This might really hit Falun Gong's ribs.

Beyond the border, Falun Gong's headquarters has painstakingly and continuously planned so-called "the new Chinese party" for several years at Christmas or the new year. During the party, it spares neither labor nor expense to organize tour-performances, not give a thought to the sense of honor to blow its own horn with too much ballyhoo. On the medias under their control, is flooding such kind of unknown origin content with consistent form of standard flattering as "New York philanthropist: Specially leads the granddaughter to watch the imposing battle drum", "Drama teacher: The actor takes his job seriously Smile is from the heart". Actually, they want to confuse public opinion, on one hand they dress up themselves to be the spokesman of China traditional culture and deceive the western society, who are interested in the Eastern culture but really know little, on the other hand they are taking the opportunity of theatrical performance to spread Falun Gong's idea, attempting to continue lying with the way of fork art forms, seeking sympathy and support. There is no difference from their dancing competition and singing competition in 2007, which is a culture strategy part of Falun Gong. Literature puts up the stage to perform an opera of anti-communist.

No matter how Falun Gong blows its own horn, this kind of performance is always suspicious. Through the Internet search, there are only three kinds of contents about the party: one is Falun Gong media goes full speed ahead, another is that discount advertisement of admission tickets of the party can be occasionally seen on Chinese website beyond the border, the other is that the audience, who were cheated, expose the fact of Falun Gong's false advertisement. Except for this, nobody cares about this matter. Western mainstream medias will not take a glance at it.

Falun Gong has originally been anxious, it's not easy for them to get the chance of attention of the papers like "New York Times", which has some influence. Unexpectedly they got not the praise but the exposition and the hit to the ribs. This obviously makes clear to all that their cultural strategy was defeated. How could they not jump up!

In all fairness, "A Chinese Culture Performance Which Some People Watch With difficulty "only shows the evil deeds, seeking truth from facts. To a certain extent, the author of the article misunderstood Falun Gong, and even with slight bias. For example, he continued to believe that Falun Gong was an ancient respiratory fitness, also quoted some statement of the spokesman at the NTDTV, and still used the so-called human rights issue to accuse China. "New York Times" is not always a pro-China newspaper, in recent years, it has repeatedly published some remarks that are not so friendly to China, including Falun Gong issue. These words had always been seen as treasures for Falun Gong, gushing from the West as an example of mainstream support and reproducing everywhere. Until now, it can be found that only Minghui, has quoted, over the years, specialized or part of the "New York Times" as many as 205 times!

But it is such an article in the newspaper and slightly touches the truth behind the facts that stabs Falun Gong's hornet's nest and is criticized. This can remind people the old account that before 1999, in order to cover up its own ugly truth, Falun Gong besieged the domestic news medias. Time flies, it has been nine years. From the west bank of Pacific to the west bank of Atlantic. From Chinese newspapers, television to American newspapers. Falun Gong has kept such a narrow, selfish, ungrateful and irascible style. That is A crow is never the whiter for washing herself often.

Of course, the seasons have changed, Falun Gong has been worse. In addition to its abusing words in its own newspapers and looking for staff to be new audience, no tricks can be used again. Cultural brand is useless, what else can they do? Is it possible for them to organize its disciples to siege New York Times? The police of the United States are less polite that no sooner unauthorized demonstrations occurred than the actors would be caught.
