A Falun Gong member in Singapore found guilty

On November 23, 2010, District Judge Roy Neighbour of Section 8 of Subordinate Courts of Singapore announced a verdict that Cai Yongshui should be fined 4,000 Singapore dollars (about 21,700 baht, $645) for damaging public property and 2,000 Singapore dollars for violating the public order, a total of 6,000 Singapore dollars. Cai Yongshui was immediately sent to prison for 6 weeks for refusing to pay the fine.

On May 6 and 7, 2010, Singapore police detained and sued seven practitioners including Cai who propagandized Falun Gong by practicing and displaying placards and bannersin the landscapes.

On July 21, 2010, the Singapore Public Prosecutor's Office charged against Cai Yongshui under the accusation of "damaging public property" and "violating the public order".

This is the second time that Cai Yongshui is found guilty. Cai Kangshui was fined for taking part in an illegal assembly in July 2006.
