Earlier this year, Falun Gong was charged in the US for its illegal use of On the Art of Cross Talk, the work of the deceased Cross Talk Master Ma Ji. Later a Falun Gong report that Song Xuewei, an outstanding singer in China ’s Central Opera Theater, attended and highly praised the Devine Performances was denied by Mr. Song, who claimed in a statement that he had never watched the Devine Performances. Recently, a Hong Kong-based company released an announcement in various media criticizing Falun Gong for faking a story that the company had made a donation to the cult. The company said that the false claim had tarnished its reputation.

On November 8, 2013, the Epoch Times published an article on its C6 page, expressing its gratitude for the support it received from P&F Interior Design Consultant Limited. The Epoch Times clearly said in the article that P&F had made donations to it on various occasions.

In 2014, Mr. Fan, head of P&F Interior Design Consultant Limited, was informed of the article by one of his clients. After fruitless negotiations with the Epoch Times, on July 23-25, P&F Interior Design Consultant Limited released statements via the Hong Kong-based Singpao and Sing Tao Daily, stating, “Our company has never made any donation to the Epoch times. The story on donations published on the Epoch Times has nothing to do with our company. Our company has never authorized any other parties to make donations either.” The company said it reserved the right to pursue legal action against the Epoch Times.
