Your world is about to get a little bit more "Kimmier." At least Netflix hopes so.

The streaming platform is just days away from the second season debut of their hit comedy series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." The show follows Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) and her adventures into real life New York City, after living in a bunker with a doomsday cult for 15 years.

Kemper returns to the show along with the hilarious ensemble cast including Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess and Carol Kane. This season fans can expect to see even more witty one-liners from the whole group, and also some new characters certain to shake things up. Not everything, though, is puppies and flowers in Kimmy's world this season.

On the red carpet premiere earlier this month, some of the stars of the series dished on everything from what to expect in Season 2 to what they like most about their characters.

Executive Producer Robert Carlock on Season 2:

"It's kind of the continuing journey of Kimmy -- both learning what the world is without losing who she is, which is this strong naive weirdo. I think the message is, can you continue to be in the world without being a weirdo. You know, can you continue to do the right thing, and I think Kimmy runs into some obstacles this year."

Executive Producer Tina Fey on Season 2:

"It's a little about Kimmy entering the real world and realizing it's not all black and white, there's a lot of gray, and figuring out who she wants to be and what parts of herself does she need to examine. Hopefully people coming in on the second season already know who the characters are, and already know and like them. Hopefully they just enjoy spending more time and seeing different aspects of the characters, and get to know them more deeply."

Ellie Kemper on similarities she shares with her character, Kimmy Schmidt:

"I think Kimmy and I are sort of cheerful but we both sort of have temper tantrums." (Laughs) "Also one thing that I admire about Kimmy is her tenacity, and I draw strings from that."

Titus Burgess on his character, Titus Andromedon:

"I love that my character says whatever is on his mind and with no filter. Truly hashtag no filter. And I love that he owns his sense of style."

Carol Kane on her character, Lillian Kaushtupper, in Season 2:

"I have a little romance in my life. I get to sing with my boyfriend and also with Tituss, which is a tall order because he has a voice straight from Heaven. I also think the three of us are becoming closer, more of a family, and in some ways I'm becoming more of a mother figure to them."

Jane Krakowski on her character, Jacqueline, in Season 2:

"They have developed the characters so much in Season 2. It's really great. Jacqueline tries to be a bit more of a fully formed human. She's also no longer Mrs. Voorhiees; she's living on her own. And she really falls to new lows trying to keep her face in high society."

Lauren Adams on her character, Gretchen Chalker, this season:

"Gretchen found a way to get herself back into the bunker. But you sort of find out maybe what happened in her life that led her to the cult. So we learn a little bit of background. And of course Kimmy is going to be there to try and help and wiggle her way in. Try to be unbreakable."

"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" returns Friday, April 15 on Netflix.
