Mingxi County is located in the northwest of Fujian Province and the southeastern foot of the Wuyi Mountains. As a mountainous county under the jurisdiction of Sanming City, Mingxi County has some well-deserved titles like Fujians No.1 county for Chinese compatriots in Europe and the new inland hometown of overseas Chinese. As many people from the town go abroad to make money, lots of children and elders are left behind. In this case, the anti-cult work requires a great sense of responsibility. The most urgent task is to enhance the anti-cult consciousness among those children and elders left behind and to build a mental firewall for ordinary people against cults.

The cyclists from Mingxi County Bike Club wear uniforms and labels on every weekend when they take part in the cycling activity. Always at the forefront of anti-cult publicity work, they ride along the townships and villages as the part of the anti-cult publicity campaign.

To further provide more options of anti-cult publicity and education, the cyclists distribute different anti-cult leaflets and materials along the road to enhance ordinary peoples awareness of destructive cults and encourage them to voluntarily resist cults

To create a strong anti-cult atmosphere and integrate anti-cult publicity into cycling, the cyclists attach a small flag with the slogan cherish life and resist cults onto each bicycle so that the anti-cult publicity effect can be much better.

The cyclists take part in the anti-cult publicity campaign when they cycle along the townships and villages. The slogans like “increase life quality and voluntarily resist cults silently reach every place and every person within the reach of their bicycles so that everyone is unconsciously reminded of the dangers of cults

The cyclists often distribute anti-cult leaflets in heavily crowded areas and have face-to-face communication with people. Their anti-cult publicity campaign focuses on the education of people about the nature of cults and the ways to resist cults harmful actions and illegal activities.

The simple slogan “advocate science, love family, cherish life, resist cults unites many volunteers in a mass movement against cults so that the prevention and control of cults can have a broader and deeper reach.
