According to a report on www.kaiwind.com, Li Hongzhi recently put up for sale his New Jersey mansion for $2.39 million (about RMB 161.4 Yuan) The high price and beautiful environment attracted much attention from Internet users.
Li Hongzhi's mansion in America
This report also provided some photos showing the interior of the mansion, including an office, bedroom, dining room, fitness room and basement. These photos offer us a chance to see Li Hongzhi’s luxurious life. As an anti-cult volunteer, I was reminded of homeless Ye Hao, prematurely deceased Li Dayong and those anonymous disciples who “help Master justify Dafa” for an extended period. Their unfortunate experience was a sharp contrast to Li Hongzhi’s life. As the saying goes, “difference becomes discernible only by comparison”.
Comparison in this report may be an effective way to disclose the truth behind Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong. I hope that those practitioners still cheated by Li Hongzhi’s fallacies can reflect on their decisions. They have to accept this harsh reality.
“Master” lives in a mansion and followers sit in the street
The mansion is well equipped and luxuriously decorated. An independent swimming pool outdoors creates a nice environment. It’s easy to conclude that Li Hongzhi invested much in his mansion. In fact, the daily maintenance cost is considerable as well. I wonder about the source of his money. According to kaiwind.com, Li Hongzhi has more than eleven mansions of this sort. He may stay in different mansions for various reasons to enjoy a wealthy life impossible for ordinary people.
How about his followers? On the morning of July 20, 2015, Falun Gong’s top member Ye Hao and his wife Jiang Xuemei were seen by some netizens practicing Falun Gong on 12th Street, Manhattan, New York. Ye Hao, a gray-haired and frail old man, walked haltingly. Jiang Xuemei looked old and clumsy with such a severely bent back that her practice of Falun Gong was made almost impossible. What a bleak scene!
Ye Hao has made huge contributions to Li Hongzhi’s preaching of Falun Gong, so he plays a significant role inside this cult. He is crowned as the “No.2 Figure”. This couple has such a miserable situation, so we have little trouble imaging the life of other ordinary followers. If we make a comparison between Li Hongzhi’s life and Ye Hao’s situation, we can conclude that Li Hongzhi shamelessly exploits all the benefits out of all his followers, no matter their level.
“Master” sells his mansion to make money and followers sell their houses for the sake of their“Master”
This mansion sold by Li Hongzhi is located in New Jersey, America. But Li Hongzhi didn’t buy this mansion, it was given as gift by Sun Johnson, his “devoted follower”. Li Hongzhi went through the formalities of house purchase in the name of his wife Li Rui in May 1999. Now he is selling this mansion at the price of $2.39 million. This means that he can make a net profit of RMB 16.14 million Yuan at no cost. In other words, he’ll make money out of nothing. His sale of this mansion is for no reason but to make money.
Let’s take a look at Li Dayong who sold his own house. As an important program leader of Falun Gong and Li Hongzhi’s devoted follower, he has contributed much to Falun Gong. He died of acute liver necrosis on March 2, 2014. As his wife Liu Mingming recalled, they were very loyal to Li Hongzhi. To help promulgate Falun Gong, they even sold their house and donated the money to the cult. So Liu Mingming had to stay in a small rented apartment. Now bathed in tears, she is overwhelmed with grief.
“Master” sells his mansion to make money and followers sell their houses for the sake of their “Master”. There’s a fundamental difference. Those followers sell their houses in the hope that Li Hongzhi can help them “clean their bodies” and keep healthy and they can reach the “final consummation” as soon as possible. Yet, they finally died of diseases without being aware that Li Hongzhi was their “murderer”. It’s important to note that Li Dayong is just one of many followers who sold their own houses. Some similar cases which have been disclosed by Kaiwind.com and been boasted about proudly by Falun Gong-backed media are really thought-provoking.
“Master” enjoys a decadent life but followers have to feed on discarded vegetables
Details always tell the truth. Li Hongzhi’s luxurious decoration reveals something about his everyday life. In the office, he issues instructions and entices his followers to “help Master justify Dafa”. In the dining room, he enjoyed his full-time cook’s service who provides him with delicious meals. In the fitness room, he works hard to build his body for the sake of a long life. In the swimming pool, he enjoys sunlight and relaxes himself. “Decadence” is the most relevant word to describe his life.
How about his followers’ lives? Let’s take a look at the preaching of Falun Gong. On July 25, 2010, a follower said at the “DC meeting for preaching of Falun Gong in Washington” that:
“One week after I completed my tasks with Shen Yun in Chicago in 2007, my company suddenly announced my whole lab would be dissolved. I felt very disappointed at the news...You know, I’m busy preparing all the materials revealing the truth about Falun Gong and I have to look for discarded vegetables every evening to feed on. “ (Follow the Master’s Road)
To promote Falun Gong, followers were so busy that they lost their jobs. With no source of income, they have to make do with discarded vegetables. At the thought of this miserable life, one couldn’t help but shed tears.
On one hand, Li Hongzhi lives in his mansion and enjoys a ddecadent life. On the other hand, followers become jobless and feed on discarded vegetables. But whatever followers do, they do to serve Li Hongzhi. Li Hongzhi’s happy life is built upon his followers’ miserable lives. Comparison can tell the difference. The evilness of Falun Gong is readily discernible.
We should extend our gratitude to the highly developed Internet, and to those meticulous anti-cult volunteers who expose the truth. They published the news about Li Hongzhi’s sale of his mansion online so that people can have a clear picture of his life in America and those followers obsessed with his fallacies can be awakened and make a well-informed decision after their own experiences are considered.
