Chen Wenlu, male, born on July 18, 1944 in Fujian Province, was engaged in import and export business at home originally, and then migrated to Saipan with his family after purchasing a house there in 1992. His son Chen Han was born in 1974 and was a Falun Gong backbone in Saipan with a position of director of Falun Gong Assistant Station in Saipan as well as journalist of the Epoch Times once. His daughter Chen Xiaoping was born in 1970 and also a Falun Gong backbone. She learnt art in China and had held art exhibitions about Falun Gong many times after migrating abroad, she also drew illustrations for the pamphlets of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Chen Wenlu went to Saipan on June 29, 1998 and during his stay in Saipan, Chen and his wife joined Falun Gong organization and took charge of the organization in Saipan.
At 4:00 a.m. on July 26, 2009, Chen Wenlu died of illness.
