Wang Cuiyuang lived happily with her husband and child. She was diagnosed with lung disease because working at Cement Plant of Ci Ping City, Jilin Province. In 1997, she heard that practicing Falun Gong could not only maintain a healthy body but cure her lung disease without taking medicine or injection. If someone practices very well, he or she can event achieve 'consummation' and become immortal. She began practicing without any hesitation.
She believed that Falun Gong could cure disease without taking medicine or injection after beginning practicing. Therefore, she no longer took medicine. She listened to Falun Gong tapes while practicing with other practitioners in the park and read Zhuan Falun which given by her practicing mates and meditated at night. Because of not taking medicine for a long time, her lung disease became more severe than before. She coughed even more and expectorated all the time. Her family members all persuaded her to go to hospital, but she said that Falun Gong practitioners could not go to see doctor and the 'practicing' can 'eliminating karma and treating disease'. Coughing and expectorating were inevitable in the process of 'eliminating karma', and if she went to hospital to see doctor, the 'karma' could not be eliminated, disease would become more severe and she could not realize 'consummation' in the future. She insisted not going to hospital no matter how other people persuaded her.
In December, 1998, Wang Cuiyuan kept coughing all nights, breathed difficultly and could not even climb stairs. Her husband asked her to see the doctor, but she refused. Her husband had no choice but dragged her to the hospital. After the X-ray check, the doctor said that because her dust lung could not be treated efficiently and in time, now it became lung tuberculosis. The doctor suggested going to professional tuberculosis hospital for treatment, but she refused. Under the guise of going to the toilet, she stood on the window and said that she would suicide if anyone pushed her to be hospitalized. Others permitted her with no choice and bought some medicine for treating tuberculosis. However, Wang Cuiyuan did not take one pill at all.
From August, 2000, Wang Cuiyuan coughed severely, expectorated with blood, breathed difficultly, and could not even walk. Facing other people's persuasion, Wang Cuiyuan however said that if anyone persuaded her again, the person must be the 'devil' who prevented her upgrading to a 'higher level' and she would kill herself.
In March, 2001, Wang's husband was driving outside when he called home but no one picked up. He rushed home and opened the door, seeing Wang Cuiyuan lying on the ground, and holding the book Zhuan Falun. She already stopped her breath.
