June 9 (Kaiwind.com) - Falun Gong members had hung banners opposite to the office of Oriental Post in Perth, the capital of Western Australia for a week since May 10, protesting against the article "Shen Yun" Behind the Shen Yun Show which waspublished on Oriental Post.

Falun Gong protested against Oriental Post for the report related with the Shen Yun show, which has been covered objectively earlier by the overseas media.

On February 6, 2008, a signed news feature named A Glimpse of Chinese Culture That Some Find Hard to Watch hit the headlines of the New York Times in U.S. which said:"It's a little too political, too religious, especially the dance showing some girls getting tortured in the prisons. That's too much for Chinese New Year, especially with our children."

On January 13, 2010, the Vancouver Sun reprinted an article about Shen Yun show written by Larissa Liepins, a reporter from Canwest News Service. Larissa Liepins wrote in the beginning: "I hate to break it to you, but if you've already bought tickets for the musical extravaganza that is Shen Yun Performing Arts, you've been sold a bill of goods."

The aforementioned objective reports from the New York Times and Vancouver Sun both cause dissatisfaction and protests among Falun Gong.
