Several rare pieces of porcelain were found in Fengcheng old tombs in east China's Jiangxi province, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported on Wednesday.
A celadon piece was unearthed in the province for the first time and is very rare in China as well. Other porcelain pieces also have important archaeological values, according to the archaeologists.
The report says one of the tombs was first discovered by chance on October 6. Only two imperfect porcelain pieces were unearthed at the beginning. Fortunately, another tomb was found several days later, revealing more than ten pieces of precious porcelain.
Restoration work for these precious celadon wares is going on right now.
