I'm a resident from Stone Gate 2nd Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai City. After my wife (named Zhao Yuying) and I retired in 1995, we both felt bored staying at home doing nothing. Then my wife told me that practicing Falun Gong could build body up and there were some people who practiced Falun Gong at the People's Square for free. So we both went to the Falun Gong Station at the People's Square where we came across some neighbors and acquaintances, and we soon became familiar with the people who practiced Falun Gong. During practicing, we also made new friends so that we could communicate with each other. Later, we called each other practitioner-friends who practiced with us.
It occurs to me that we were encouraged by those practitioner-friends when we communicated with each other, and my wife and I felt good both mentally and physically. So we insisted on going to People's Square to practice every day. We always sat for 2 hours and sometimes we should sit several times per day. After a short while, we heard that all practitioners should study "Zhuan Falun" because Master Li Hongzhi asked us to do so. Li Hongzhi said that if we practitioners who didn't want to study the book "Zhuan Falun", we could not be a real Dafa disciple and not practice well. So besides practicing Falun Gong every day, we insisted on studying "Zhuan Falun" collectively thrice a week. When studying the book, we always made discussions. Since then, we had known that practicing Falun Gong could not only improve our Gong, but also fulfill perfection. My wife was more absorbed in studying than I was. Sometimes she wasn't apt to the housework. In so doing, we insisted on studying Falun Gong no matter when it rained or winded. Sometimes we forgot to have dinners, for we were practicing Falun Gong with a thought that if we could study Falun Gong well, it's not a big deal to forget to have dinners. So we both studied for over a year.
Because we were addicted to Falun Gong very much and we practiced Falun Gong day and night, my wife caught the tummy bug. Since May 1996, my wife had always felt there was something wrong with her stomach. In March 1997, my wife found a bump near her stomach and pained a lot. Then we applied the theory from the book "Zhuan Falun" to her illness and thought that it's a reaction of reducing karmic forces. Li Hongzhi said that we had lots of Karma before practicing Falun Gong. We could reduce karmic forces after we practiced hard according to Li Hongzhi so that my wife's bump would disappear naturally. Seeing doctors or taking medicine could only take temporary solution without curing the disease completely and such could do nothing but cover our Karma and killing ourselves. So we believed in what Li Hongzhi said and considered that all the Dafa disciples could not get illness. So we didn't consider seeing doctors at all.
In June 1997, my wife's stomach illness got so worse that she couldn't go to the People's Square to practice Falun Gong. And we practiced before the photo of Li Hongzhi at home. The more pains my wife felt, the more she practiced. She believed that only Li Hongzhi could save her. She suffered a lot to practice every day. I saw there were more cold sweats in her white face day by day. Sometimes she was sweated at all. However, she still insisted. Although she practiced Falun Gong and studied Fa sincerely, she didn't get better. In the first ten days of July, she couldn't have 3 dumplings per dinner. Instead she asked me to help her practice Falun Gong and insisted on studying "Zhuan Falun". I felt as if I was cut by knife on seeing this. I was doubted whether Dafa could save my wife. My children and I started to persuade her going to hospital. In the middle ten days of July, my wife didn't piss for 3 days. As a result, she got edema all over. But she still didn't see doctors. On the fifth days, she still had no piss but a weak body. At that time, a practitioner-friend came to see her and said to her that "what you've done is right. It doesn't matter. There was a practitioner who didn't piss for 5 days. However, he could piss in the 7th day." My wife believed what he said very much and considered that it's not too late to go to hospital in the 7th day. Then she was weak very much and couldn't speak aloud. But she couldn't resist her children sending her to hospital. She was sent to the Long March Hospital of Shanghai by force. The doctor diagnosed that my wife got an advanced stomach cancer.
I remembered clearly that the doctor asked us in a doubted mood and said, "Why didn't you take her to hospital earlier? She had felt bad since May 1996. Why do you come to hospital until now? If you send her here half a year earlier, we could cure her completely! She was muddled, but why you all were muddled?"
I had a despairing mood that human being couldn't save my wife but Li Hongzhi. So I got down my knees before the photo of Li Hongzhi and said "Master! Master! My wife is such a faithful disciple that she practices Falun Gong till death. You've said your Dharma body is everywhere. So I beg you now. You should come to save her." Several days before my wife passed away, I beg Li Hongzhi every day. However, I could see nothing, even his shadow.
In October 1997, my beloved wife passed away. At that time, I felt as if the sky collapsed. I cried my eyes out and shouted hopelessly... I suffered awful pains.
Then, my neighbors and colleagues came to console me, and my children returned to accompany me so that I felt some warmth of the society and love of children. I gradually calmed down from losing my beloved wife. And I began to doubt that my wife and I were cheated by Falun Gong. If there weren't Falun Gong, my beloved wife could seize the opportunity to see doctors because she felt there was something wrong with her stomach in the early days. What the doctor from the Long March Hospital said echoed me all the time.
In the second half of the year of 1999, Falun Gong was clamped down. I understand that it's Falun Gong that kills my wife! It's Falun Gong and the practitioner-friends making me to be muddled. Otherwise, why should not I support my wife to see doctors and take medicine? Why had I made such a huge mistake beyond retrieval? I regret that I have practiced Falun Gong that year! But my wife didn't know who killed her when she died! She was begging for Li Hongzhi to save her!
