Before long I heard by accident that an article entitled "Zhang Wuying from Changzhou city persecuted by the evil Party since her husband dead because of persecution" was published in Minghui Net of Falun Gong on May 21, 2007. Wu Dianhui and Zhang Wuying mentioned in the article were my colleagues and I feel unimaginable towards the saying that "Wu Dianhui died undeservedly on Feb. 11, 2006, and Zhang Dianying lived with her 7-year-old son and parents-in-law in persecution and pressure". I don't know what the evidence of this article is based on. I cannot figure it out after thinking about it for a long time. Therefore, I am here to tell what I know about Wu Dianhui and Zhang Wuying so as to ensure a right understanding of the facts.
On Feb. 11, 2006, Zhang Wuying, a teacher of Changzhou Institute of Technology received an appalling message, her husband Wu Dianhui unfortunately died at 12 o'clock on Feb. 11 after the salvage of Tai'an Central Hospital was failed. The 34 years old Wu Dianhui,a postgraduate of master degree passed away quietly and his death left a lot of regrets to his colleagues and friends, and it also left a lot of questions. People were wondering why Wu Dianhui passed away like this, what kind of disease he got?
Those who were familiar with Wu Dianhui knew that the disease Wu Dianhui got was not incurable, but phthisis which could be cured with modern science. People may asked, why phthisis would kill Wu Dianhui and what was the chief criminal?
Persuaded by a classmate, he started to learn and was later obsessed with Falun Gong.
Wu Dianhui came from Bunan village, Ningyang county of Shandong province. He used to be an excellent student. However, he chose a way without end in the persuasion of a classmate in East-China Normal University. In 1996, Wu Dianhui passed the entrance examination for postgraduate of East China Normal University. In the second half year of 1996, a classmate of Wu Dianhui persuaded him to practice Falun Gong. At the beginning, Wu Dianhui didn't believe in Falun Gong and did not practice it. But after persuasions for a lot of times, he was gradually obsessed with Falun Gong.
Falun Gong almost made him to abandon his school work and lose his job.
During the summer vacation in 1999, Wu Dianhui delayed his thesis defense because of practicing Falun Gong, and he went to Beijing and attended the "defending Fa" activities in October 1999. He did not finish his thesis defense and obtain his degree certification until November 1999, which caused the working agreement he signed with Changzhou Normal College couldn`t be carried out and his registered permanent residence couldn`t be transferred to the college. Because Wu Dianhui did not carry out the agreement and transact related procedures on time, he should be returned back to East-China Normal University. However, Wu Dianhui's registered permanent residence was finally transferred to Changzhou Normal College with the personal help of the college's leaders.
Falun Gong also made him to lose a lot of curing opportunities, which caused his disease more and more serious. In October 1999, accompanied by the leaders of the college,Wu Dianhui was diagnosed as a patient of phthisis in the Third People's Hospital of Changzhou. But Wu Dianhui didn't care about it and thought mistakenly that Falun Gong could cure his disease, and he even denied treatment. In February 2003, the college assigned the position of geography teacher to him. In May of that year he rested at home because of his disease and was hospitalized in the Third People's Hospital of Changzhou for a lot of times.
However, Wu Dianhui mistakenly believed that "Falun Gong" could cure him. Every time after leaving hospital, he didn't adjust himself mentally and cooperate with the treatment of the hospital, which resulted in repetition of his disease after leaving hospital and his disease became more and more serious.
The abrupt death of Wu Dianhui and the treatment after his death
On Feb. 3, 2006, Wu Dianhui went back to his hometown in Ningyang, Shandong province to visit his relatives and the main reason was that his fourth uncle was in narcosis after a car accident. Wu Dianhui lived in the house of his hometown. There were no one lived in the house for six to seven years and it was in rough conditions. At that time it was very cold and the temperature was more than ten degrees below ice point. Wu Dianhui felt discomfort after living in the house for a few days, he couldn`t fall asleep and his asthma outbroke. So he decided to go back to Changzhou alone in advance. Wu Dianhui booked the ticket to Changzhou on Feb. 11 in the train station in Tai'an and he lived in the home of his aunt which was near to the station at the night of Feb. 10, so as to catch the train at about eight o'clock in next morning. On the morning of Feb. 11, he was sent to the train station of Tai'an by his aunt and his cousin. At about eight o'clock in the morning, his asthma outbroke in the train station of Tai'an and his cousin called first-aid phone. Then he was sent to the central hospital of Tai'an city. At the time when he was sent to the hospital, he had no pulse, no breath and had only body temperature. After tow hours' rescuing, which was failed, he was declared dead at 12 o'clock.
After receiving the report in telephone by Zhang Wuying, the wife of Wu Dianhui, the leaders of the college regarded it as an important issue and called in main leaders of the college to have a discussion about it. One of the leaders and two staffs went to the central hospital of Tai'an city and Bu Nan Village of Ningyang County to investigate the situation and helped Zhang Wuying to handle the problems after the death. The team arrived at Tai'an about five o'clock on Feb. 12. They went to the central hospital of Tai'an city at 8 o'clock on Feb. 13 and arrived at Bu Nan Village at noon, when they got to know that the body of Wu Dianhui was sent back to his hometown by his cousin and was cremated in the morning of 13, and his remains had been buried to his family graves.
After the death of Wu Dianhui, the college set up a working team to handle the problems after his death. According to related policy, the college provided his parents a subsidy of 220 yuan per month, provided his son a subsidy for life 220 yuan per month till 18 years old. Given to the hardship of his family, the college provided the cost of funeral and comfort and compensate fee of about 11 thousand yuan. And the college also employed his father as a worker for environment affairs in the college so as to solve his living problems.
Note: Wu Dianhui graduated from East-China Normal University in 1999. In September of that year Changzhou Normal College prepared to employ Wu Dianhui as a special talent. Due to his practicing Falun Gong, he delayed his thesis defense and didn't finish it and obtain degree certification until November, 1999. After that Changzhou Normal College employed Wu Dianhui. In October, 2003 Changzhou Normal College was merged into Changzhou Institiue of Technology.
