I am Zhang Huilin, coming from Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. At the beginning, I just wanted to have a try and became a Falun Gong practitioner with the purpose of curing illness and improving health. Later, I became an obsessed practitioner with the aim of achieving Consummation. But now, I am awakened by my personal experiences that Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong could by no means cure illness, they would even kill people!
In the second half of 1998, I was not very healthy suffering from some illnesses such as tummy ache, periarthritis of shoulder, cervical spondylosis, arthralgia and so on. I sought the help of doctors, took medicine, and received treatments like massage and electrotherapeutics. However, they did not work much, and I spent a lot of money too. At that time there were a lot of Falun Gong practitioners who sit cross-legged in Xincun Park in Wuxi, they told me that Falun Gong can cure illness and there was no need to take medicine. Since it had such fantastic effect, I thought I should have a try.
I remembered clearly, it was October of that year when Aunt Ren, one of my neighbors began to teach me to practice. And she also bought books for me. Then I began my practice of Falun Gong. Every morning I went to practice in Xincun Park and I read books every night. I felt I was a little healthier and became more and more reliable to Falun Gong gradually. I began to regard "truthfulness, compassion and forbearance" as the standard of my life, "persisted in practicing Dafa" according to the orders of Li Hongzhi, and attributed all good things during my practices to the power of Falun Gong. Under the temptation of "Fa saves all beings, Master guides the voyage," I was even more obsessed with Falun Gong.
In July 1999, the government banned Falun Gong. I was confused at that time. In my mind, Falun Gong could cure illness, and people needed no medicine after practicing it, which could save money for practitioners as well as for the country. Since it was such a good Gong, I should continue to practice. Therefore, I still practiced Gong and learnt lections at home regardless the dissuasion and regulation of the country. Actually I paid great attention to it and copied new lections. I just wanted to cure my illness, became healthier and obtained Consummation. Later the neighboring aunt told me that practitioners were quitting the Party and the League and she had quitted online. I told her that I was neither a Party member, nor a League member. And I just joined Young Pioneers. She said I should quit it since the Master quitted. After considering and weighing it for some time, I wrote a quitting statement and pasted it on a tree in the Park furtively. Some time later, when I and some fellow practitioners gathered, someone said the overseas fellow practitioners were ready to boycott Beijing Olympic Games and asked for the support of domestic practitioners. At that time I believed that hosting Olympic Games would be a good thing for our country. However, since it was the order of the organization and Master, it was not a good thing for me if I didn't sign my name. Therefore I signed my name and declared that I would boycott Beijing Olympic Games, and I also asked Xiao Wang, who was good at computer skills to post the information on Minghui.
I didn't stop practicing Falun Gong until April 2005, when I found there was a lump in my breast. At the beginning I just thought it was Karma and wanted to eliminate it by reading books and practicing hardly. However, in July or August that year, the lump became bigger and I was more painful. I mentioned my illness to my fellow practitioners; they reminded and encouraged me to "stick to Dafa." Then I persisted in "releasing my Karma" and refused to go to hospital. But in September, I couldn't endure the pain any longer, and there were lumps under my armpits too. I gradually lost my confidence with practicing. Later, I went to hospital in the persuasion of my family members and friends. The medical examinations showed that I got malignant breast cancer and it had reached middle-advanced period, and I got hypertension and diabetes too.
Oh, my god! I have practiced for so many years, but the "Law Body" of Li Hongzhi doesn't protect me in the key moment! And since I believed in Falun Gong, I have lost treatment chance of five months. It is too late to regret!
