Li Jiguang, male, born in April 1964, graduated from Jilin University and had ever worked at the first research institute of Beijing Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics Industry before going abroad. Li Jiguang founded Falun Gong medium "the Epoch Times" with Tang Zhong in 2000 and now acts as vice president of the Epoch Times. Li turned up in the Epoch Times with high frequency from 2005 to 2006, and the last time he appeared on the Epoch Times was on February 15, 2007, and then he disappeared.
Li Jun, female, the wife of Li Jiguang as well as the younger sister of Li Hongzhi, was born on November 11, 1960. She worked at the Northeast Optical Instrument Factory in Changchun in 1980 and married Liu Jiakui in June 1982. They divorced after having a daughter named Liu Chang. Li Jun went to Thailand to visit her sister Li Ping in May 1990, and with the help of Li Hongzhi and Li Donghui who immigrated to Singapore earlier, Li Jun went to Singapore from Thailand. Then she went to America after Li Hongzhi immigrating there. Later Li Jun married Li Jiguang with Li Hongzhi acting as go-between, now they live in America. Li Jun is a host of New Tang Dynasty TV as well as an announcer (named Yuxin) of Sound of Hope Radio Network. On July 5, 2006, she used her autonym of Li Jun when hosting program. And she is also a member of Divine Marching Band.
According to reports, Li Jiguang is suffering from serious illnesses of heart disease and nephropathy etc., and has been in hospital for treatment specially approved by Li Hongzhi. Now he is still under treatment.
