The analyzed "Falun Dafa" religious doctrine has the typical features of the oriental religious and esoteric teachings, which are nontraditional in our society. Its matter is based on the statements from Buddhism and Taoism, with a touch of Confucianism, Christianity and other religions.

Just as the most of non-traditional religious or pseudo-religious trends, "Falun Dafa" doctrine might possess some single positive features. Firstly, adopting this teaching may motivate one to take up the processes of self-cognition, or spiritual and physical self-perfection. Secondly, practicing within the doctrine's limits may realize some psychotherapeutic functions, e.g. give rise to the feeling of security, give the hopes for the better and provide the sense of living for people, who are tend to be dependent.

At the same time Li Hongzhi, the author of the doctrine, lays rather groundless and unconvincing claims to its being exceptional. He stresses its being exceptional and insists on the universality and on completeness of his doctrine: "The Law of Buddha" is most profound. It is most mysterious supernatural science of all the world sciences" (1, p. 1), "The Law of Buddha" is a profound understanding of all inmost secrets, starting with a molecule and up to the universe, from the smallest to the largest — everything is encompassed and taken into consideration (1, p. 1), only with "The Law of Buddha" it is possible to reveal the mysteries of the universe, space, time and a human body" (1, p. 2). "Falun is constantly improving a man. This is the only way of self-perfection among all other schools of self-perfection spread all over the world (1, p. 288);

He asserts the necessity of the full devotion to the doctrine and of separation from other trends: "It is necessary to adhere to only one way of self-perfection" (1, p. 80), "the trainees of the Great Law are strictly prohibited to practice any other gongfa" (1, p. 336), "the instructor should be a person who practices only the Great Law of Falun" (1, p. 337), "the trainees are prohibited to propagate other religions, connecting them to self-perfection on the basis of the Great Law of Falun" (1, p. 338);

He criticizes all the other schools in a categorical and brutal way, especially those practicing qigong (i.e. their main rivals) (1, p. 15-17, 21, 24, 27-28, 38, 41-42, 59, 60, 61-62, 69, 71, 82-83, 88-91, 93-97, 104, 125, 128-133, 144-147, 149, 152-161, 163, 164, 166-168, 178- 179, 185-198, 203, 206-207, 213-220, 226-227, 257-260, 275-277, 289, 336; 2, p. 54, 63, 68, 79), all the other new religious trends (1, c. 79-80) and European medicine (1, p. 220-224).

The text of the doctrine is the eclectic BLEND of religious and pseudo-religious ideas, pseudo-scientific statements common trivial facts and superstitions. The text is full of anti- and pseudo-scientific fake facts and comments, especially the ones, which deal with physics, biology, psychology, history, and has numerous esoteric interpretations of our reality that can not be verified with the help of empirical methods. One can just either believe them or not. Meanwhile, the author of the doctrine does not bother himself with giving any sufficient proof of his ideas; he does not care if his statement is logic and consistent either. He uses imperative and suggestive style of a sermon, practices emotional pressure and applies different appeals, threatens and iterations that are making the suggestion even more effective for the public.

One of the author's favorite techniques is to make a hint that some of his ideas are extremely complex, yet giving no specific explanation: "I won't touch upon other things — they are too difficult to be understood" (1, p. 41), "I won't answer such concrete questions" (1, p. 201), "as far as in-depth analysis of the Great Law, there is nothing left for me but to hold back" (1, p. 238), "I'm such a person who can hold back if I don't want to say something" (1, p.245), "we won't touch upon the exact impulses the brain radiates" (1, p. 258), "this is, of course, from another sphere and we won't speak about it" (1, p. 261), "up to now I was talking about the structure of the universe. I can't tell you the details" (2, p. 53), "some minority has an inborn ability to see invisible. I won't touch upon this subject".

Besides, the preacher is trying to depreciate the science: "if those people who investigate a person's body, keep to the common rules and theories, make conclusions according to the present-day science, they will never succeed, even in ten thousand years" (1, p. 56), "those things that are cognized by the qigong are really beyond the cognition of the present- day science" (1, p. 270), "present-day medicine and science are incapable to understand the reasons of illnesses… The present-day sciences don't see the true reasons of illnesses (2, p. 1), "the mankind boasts of its science to be very developed, extremely developed. It's a pity!" (2, p. 20), "the present-day sciences are developed on a wrong basis. The mankind's knowledge about the universe, itself and ever-day life phenomena are wrongful… The knowledge of your mankind always stays apart from truth… The science doesn't see the truth as a whole" (2, p. 22), "our present-day science can't be called "science". The way, that our science follows, will never result in the revealing of the universe mystery" (2, p. 43), "the history of the mankind and its sciences are wrongful" (2, p. 69), "the cognition of material, the cognition of the universe, the cognition of life, the cognition of the real world, the cognition of space — all these cognitions have been developed on a wrong basis".

Most of the disfigurements of the scientific facts deal with physics. For instance, the statement about the matter of life: "there is innumerable quantity of different substances in the universe that can be used to make up life" (1, p. 11), " when someone is born, somewhere in a special place where there is no time, his whole life has already exists".

About the origin of the Matter: the material and spirit are identical (1, p. 29), "both ancient physics here in China and present-day physics agree to the Chinese doctrine about five elements" (1, p. 62), "the Xumen mountains consist of atoms, that's why it is impossible to see them (2, p. 17), "the beginning of the material is water… During the microscopic research, when ultramicroscopic substance of different levels reaches a certain point, the material disappears. Further research can find such quiet, lifeless water without any material particles. Such water is the very beginning of the material" (2, p. 44), "how is the material formed?… Such characteristics of the universe form the initial, ultramicroscopic, most elementary and homogeneous particles, which can be called the most primary particles. They are homogeneous, they mean nothing and resemble bubbles" (2, p. 44-45), "all the universe that we can cognize consists of water. Such water has extremely high density. It is motionless… Everything is made of water. Even from the steel and iron one can squeeze out some water, it is possible even to turn them into water".

About the links between the matter and energy: "when the Falun goes clockwise, it automatically takes out energy from the universe… And when it goes counter-clockwise, then it releases energy and the material which it doesn't need" (1, p. 39), "when the Falun goes clockwise, it rescues its bearer. And when it goes counter-clockwise, then it releases energy (1, p. 107), "when the Falun goes clockwise, it automatically takes up energy from the universe; when it goes counter-clockwise, then it releases energy".

About the structure of the Universe: "on the one hand, the universe exists as the material, but on the other, it possesses certain characteristics" (1, p. 29), "we took measurements and drew the conclusion, that the three spheres that are mentioned in the religion, still exist within our nine planets" (1, p. 66), "the Falun Gong emblem presents the universe in miniature. In other spaces it also has it form of existence and the process of evolution, that's why I consider it to be the world" (1, p. 140), "beyond the limits of this universe there exists one more universe". "Somewhere 3000 of the universes still exist. Outside these 3000 universes there is a crust. It makes the second layer of the universes. Beyond the limits of the second layer there are nearly 3000 more universes, similar to the second layer. Beyond their limits there is also the crust, making the third layer of the universes. It resembles the process when a kernel of the atom is made from a corpuscular, an atom is made from kernels, a molecule is made from atoms" (2, p. 19), "there are eighty one layers of the universes" (2, p. 19), "many and many living beings, which are in different in size grains of sand, made from molecules and their forms of life are exactly the same as the forms of life of our mankind.

About the physical properties of the human body: "at present it is proved by the devices that the qigong instructors' organisms radiate infrasonic, ultrasonic, electromagnetic waves, infrared, ultraviolet and gamma rays. Neutrons, atoms microelements, metals and other elements were also found." (1, p. 2), the gong force exists in every cell of the body including microcorpusculars (1, p. 37), "Some rays radiating by the qigong instructors are impossible to identify because there no appropriate devices… The rays radiating by the qigong instructors are very rich" (1, p. 62), "our trainees… release energy, which particles are very large, the density is not high that's why the power of the energy is small" (1, p. 63), "in the course of time the human body will be filled with high energy. Such highly energetic material has mental faculties, it is sensible.

The existing facts of biology are thought out or disfigured with no reservations. Particularly, this deals with the facts of the human anatomy: "the celestial eye that we describe is a bit above between eyebrows and is connected with the pineal gland" (1, p. 43), "it is the pineal gland that forms an image and sees things" (1, p. 45), "speaking about the opening of the celestial eye we mean the possibility to see without the optic nerve. For this it is necessary to make a duct between the person's eyebrows and let the pineal gland revealed (1, p. 45), "the presentday medicine has sized up that there is one more eye somewhere in the person's brain (1, p. 45), "besides the main duct there are a number of basic ducts on both eyebrows, superior eyelids, under the inferior eyelids and between the eyes" (1, p. 49), "if it is really a microspace, then the distance between the forehead and the pineal gland will be not less than one hundred and eighty thousand li" (1, p. 52), "inside the field of the human body right on the spot of the forehead there is a mirror; just after a person receive the ability for far-seeing, the mirror can turn this way and that way… This mirror can reflect anything within the limits of your spatial field. This is what the far-seeing means" (1, p. 55-56), "the extra-human ability — fatalism — shows itself through a small fluorescent screen on the spot of the forehead, it looks like a TV set" (1, p. 61), the pain in the crossed legs is the "black matter". "At the moment when his legs hurt, we see that the "black matter" steps on his feet. The "black matter" is the carma" (1, p. 114-115). The "energy infusion through the crown" is described (1, p. 128-130): "the crown is the most sensitive part of the head. When the qi gets stuck in the upper part of the head and can't find its way down, a person feels heaviness, his head swells" (1, p. 163), "everybody who steels qi has a green-coloured face" (1, p. 229), "there are more than ten thousand ducts in a person's body, they stretch the length and breadth of the body like blood vessels… The ducts are everywhere, from the head to any part of the body" (1, p. 240), "at times during the training, your head will tilt. If it tilts this way, it means that the device rolls this way. If the head tilts that way, it means that the device rolls that way" (1, p. 246), "during the training in the meditative pose you'll be nodding your head. This is due to the passing energy" (1, p. 246), "later some people will notice that due to the training the ducts become wider, a finger-width" (1, p. 247), "some people's bodies are all covered with eyes, all the sudoriferous glands are their eyes" (1, p. 248), "a person with good basis has a lot of white material (1, p. 269). "When they (the sins — V.V.) enter our space they show themselves in the form of bacteria, viruses" (2, p. 10), "when some of our trainees have their celestial eye opened, they notice that there appear mountains, water in it and the themselves are running out very quickly past cities, mountains and rivers, running out of the celestial eye. I tell you that the pictures you have seen are not outer. They are the real form of existence of the cells and ultramicroparticles in your head".

Unnatural conception of living organisms inside the human body is described: "by making movements you produce a lot of living things" (1, p. 37). The process of "growing" of the immortal baby in the body of a trainee is described "because there are yin and yan in the body of a person and through the process of self-perfection… it is possible to produce a great number of living things".

The existence of the human analogues in other spaces: "when a person dies, only some of his elements dissociate in our space, but in other spaces a person's bodies are preserved" (1, p. 31), "we have noticed that when a person is born, in different spaces of our universe his numerous clons are born, having the same appearance, name and behavior".

The possibility of replacing the human body with energy with the help of self-perfection: "in the long run such highly-energetic substance will totally replace the cells in a person's body" (1, p. 63), "such person won't get older, the cells of his body won't die and, naturally, he'll stay young forever" (1, p. 64), "self-perfection of the body means a cardinal replacement of the molecules and cells of the body for a highly-energetic substance, which results in making the body from the substances taken from other spaces".

The supernatural human abilities: "an elderly woman could overjump the wall two metres high… She opened a lock poking her finger in it… Even if she is put into irons, it will cost her no effort to shake them off" (1, p. 171), "there are people who don't eat or drink for some years, even for some dozens years, but they still feel well".

The author of the doctrine unconditionally misuses the pseudostatements dealing with medicine, while telling, for instance, about the reason of the illnesses: "why does a person become ill? The true reason of his illnesses and suffering is his carma, a field of black substance… Thinking spirits are the true reason of peoples' illnesses, the main source of them" (1, p. 216-217), "in the pesthole of an illness there is a lot of black substance of high density".

Explaining the reasons of mental diseases: "to my mind mental aberration is not an illness at all… Because there are no viruses, no pathological changes in the body, no ulcers. I think, this is not an illness at all" (1, p. 165-166), "real madness… doesn't mean that a person has really gone mad. We should not take it in a literal sense" (1, p. 169), "for example, a person is afraid of cold, mud. If we block that area of the brain which is responsible for such irritation, then a person will have mental problems. He becomes insane".

Considering the ways of medication: "to my mind, there exist thousands of extra-abilities to treat illnesses. There are as many illnesses as much extra-abilities to treat them".

Many superstitions, given by the author of the doctrine deal with:

- Psychology, especially when it comes for explaining the origin of sensitivity: "there are six widely acknowledged types of extrasensory perception in the world. But I think that there are much more types of extra-abilities, not less than dozens of thousands";

- the origin of thinking: "people, who are researching a human body, have noticed that a human thought, the process of thinking in a person's brain produces some substance… When an ordinary person thinks, he radiates information in the form of the brain" (1, p. 154), "an apprehensive carma has an ability to penetrate human brain" (1, p. 183), "when there is too much of this black substance, it makes a field round a person that blocks him. And the more the field is, the higher its density and thickness, the worse the ability of apprehension is";

- relations between the character and appearance: "when people do wrong things, they like to look with their right eye";

- supernatural abilities: "there are a lot of extra-abilities, nearly ten thousand" (1, p. 34), "at present, six types of extrasensory perception are widely acknowledged in the world".

There are many groundless statements in the text which appear to show the author's "understanding" of history. There are pseudoscientific thesis concerning the "prehistoric civilizations" (1, p. 21- 24); a free description of the historical events and epochs is given: "the Great Law of the Falun… at some period of prehistory saved people in large quantities" (1, p. 36), "at the time of the latest depression and destruction of dharma great changes took place in the universe" (1, p. 82), "on the Earth not only our China is under the influence of the Confucianism but the whole mankind had similar moral principles some centuries ago".

The human history is shown as a history of catastrophes, and after the catastrophes the humankind is told to appear again. The author doesn't bother himself with giving any "methods of verifying": "once I made a though research and found out that the mankind died 81 times" (1, p. 24), "the mankind has more than once undergone destructions during different historic culps (evils), then a new mankind appeared which experienced different changes" (2, p. 48), "every time when the mankind demoralized, its civilization collapsed. Only a few people survived. They inherited insignificant prehistoric culture and continued to develop going through a new Stone Age. The Stone Age occur more than once" (2, p. 23), "the pyramids (Egyptian — V.V.) were constructed during one of the prehistoric civilizations and were inundated during the further transformation of the continents. At the time of later civilization, when a new continent was formed, these Pyramids re-appeared from water" (2, p. 23-24), "the Maya culture belonged to the previous prehistoric civilization and was wiped off the face of the earth in Mexico, only a tiny minority survived. But this Maya culture is directly connected with the Mongols" (2, p. 24), "the culture of the white race was completely devastated by the Great Flood, nothing left. At that time at the brink of the European continent there was another continent, which also sank. This continent was most developed but it sank. The white race again start its development from nothing".

In the sermons' contents one may clearly see the author's trying to exalt himself that looks just like megalomania. The author repeatedly stresses that he is exceptional: "I'm the only one who put people on the highest levels of hierarchy" (1, p. 9), "at present, there is no other person but me who would preach the method of practice on the highest level of hierarchy" (1, p. 42), "at present, I'm the only one who in the whole world who openly preach the Orthodox Law. I did that, what our ancestors never did" (1, p. 82), "up to now only I have been publicly preaching the method of practice on the highest level of hierarchy" (1, p. 85), "I have clued the eternal secret, the secret of all secrets, which was never clued. I have discovered the basic methods of self-perfection of numerous generations (1, p. 236), "I make the Great Law…known on purpose…. I perceived it in time immemorial" (1, p. 288), "I said a lot of things that nobody has ever said among ordinary people".

Super-power: "I can help everybody" (1, p. 13), "there are so many of my Bodies of the Law, that it is impossible to count them all. I have numerous Bodies of the Law and I can take care of all followers, never mind how many of them" I have numerous Bodies of the Law and "I have numerous Bodies of the Law and they posses a miraculous power of the Law. My Body of the Law can work miracles and show the mighty of the Law" (1, p. 104), "the experiments showed that the amount of gamma-rays and hot neutrons that I radiate, 80-170 times exceeds the norm usual to an ordinary substance. During the experiment the hand of the measuring device reached the extreme point of the scale at once".

The power of his influence: "I radiate such energy that all sitting here feel some harmony" (1, p. 175), "when preaching, I'll send high-powered energy to you brain" (1, p. 176), "at the beginning of your self-perfection I took away a lot of evil" (1, p. 182). "Your misfortune has greatly decreased, I have took away much of it from your path".

He identifies himself with the Universe or God: "my basis is implanted in the universe. The one who encroaches upon you, encroaches upon me, then, if it is true, he encroaches upon the whole universe" (1, p. 41), "I'll tell you what to do for your self-perfection… Take my book… or just my photo and, having a stature of Buddha in your hands,… ask the Teacher to consecrate the picture as if you ask me. You need just half a minute and the problem will be solved" (1, p. 157), "at last all Saints, Buddhas and Dioses understood what I had been doing, saw the perfect effect" (2, p. 30), "if something happens to me, the whole mankind will face a great change".

Stresses that no one can be equal to him: "nobody can read me, can find out what I think" (1, p. 83), "you are prohibited to use this form —to make reports on the Law, as I do… I put deep sense in my words, because it is beyond your capacity to explain this law… The Dafa Teacher is only one. You all are followers" (1, p. 109), "without my Body of the Law's protection you can't do this (self-perfection — V.V.)" (1, p. 171), "the youth… will fail to achieve during all their lives that, what I've put into you" (1, p. 191), "if I fail to save you, nobody will manage".

He wants other people to consider his authority to be irrefutable: "quoting me, it is necessary to add "Teacher Li Hongzhi said…" and so on" (1, p. 336), "when telling the Law to all followers of the Great Law of the Falun it is necessary to say "Teacher Li Hongzhi said…" or "Teacher Li Hongzhi stressed".

The doctrine popularizes dividing people into the better ones and the worse ones. This division looks just like disregarding "usual" people: "those who stand on the position of an ordinary person, are at the level of an ordinary person, view everything from his standpoint and can't comprehend the fact of the matter" (1, p. 25), "evil thoughts inhere in ordinary people (1, p. 30), "in the perfection circles the people are considered as those who don't recognize the things they don't see. They are in the power of common false views, they are deluded. This view has long exists in religious circles and we also share it" (1, p. 44), "some people become bad degrade… Degrading more and more they find themselves among ordinary people" (1, p. 58), "an ordinary mortal is just an ordinary mortal, he can live only among ordinary people".

Stressing the benefits of those, who are practicing self-improvement (the disciples) over all the rest people: "such people are especially valuable" (1, p. 11), "there are such people who can see the things invisible for ordinary people" (1, p. 25), "we regard those people who busy themselves with self-perfection as most valuable ones" (1, p. 103), "we, those who busy themselves with self-perfection, are not interested in the things that are interesting for ordinary people" (1, p. 111), "you, as the one who busy himself with self-perfection, belongs to the super-natural sphere" (1, p. 281), ""we, those who busy themselves with self-perfection, shouldn't behave as ordinary people" (2, p. 6), "you, as the one who busy himself with self-perfection, shouldn't behave as ordinary people. In fact, you are not a man anymore" (2, p. 7), "you should not think you are mundane. You are saint, not mundane".

Glorifying the mercy of "the great ones": "those, who have become lucid, showing their mercy, have given people one more opportunity" (1, p. 12), "those, who have become lucid, out of their great mercy, have created such space, where our human community is now".

It describes supernatural abilities of the disciples and guarantees that they are protected of all the dangers (1, c. 105-106, 126-127): "you, as the one who busy himself with self-perfection, is not afraid, because your organism resists diseases".

The doctrine has numerous theses which are clearly harmful for the person's health and dignity. The author of the doctrine denies the human right for the independent behavior and making decisions: "Nobody should behave as he likes, otherwise it will be nothing but wrongdoing" (1, p. 10), "let everything takes its normal course, you should neglect your personal interests" (1, p. 47), "a person's aspiration can change little in his life… Let everything takes its normal course" (1, p. 57), "everything is predetermined, everybody is brought here by his fate. If you have acquired something, it means that it was predetermined, be grateful and don't have any aspirations" (1, p. 67), "whatever happens to you, view it as a normal thing" (1, p. 74), "these are not the person's inclinations, that determine what he should do in life" (1, p. 212), "you can't get what is not predetermined for you" (1, p. 212), "you are prohibited to do what you want".

It demands breaking up with the natural human feelings or desires: "willingness or unwillingness, happiness or sadness, love or hatred —these are the feelings that form everything in human society. You can't busy yourself with self-perfection if you don't get rid of these feelings" (1, p. 124), "arhat (a person who has reached one of the levels of self-perfection — V.V.) must do nothing, be indifferent to everything" (1, p. 165), "ordinary people live for feelings… But those, who busy themselves with self-perfection should not follow this principle""We should be indifferent and impassive to different passions resulted from these feelings, and in the end we should totally get rid of them"(1, p. 173-174), "it is necessary to get rid of any heart passion" (1, p. 204), "gradually you'll view these (human — V.V.) feelings indifferently and impassively and in the end, in the process of self-perfection, you'll totally get rid of them. People live for these feelings, but not you".

It demands that it is necessary to avoid the close relations with the family members: "people live in delusion and can't get rid of the feeling of affection towards their families. Nobody can get rid of the affection towards his child" (1, p. 179), "you should be indifferent and consider the situation correctly, when your relatives suffer".

He vindicates that medication is harmful: to cure his (a person's — V.V.) illnesses means to violate the principle of the universe, let a person do evil".

He insists that it is useless to cure the usual people: "for an ordinary person, for those who enjoy mundane life can't be cured" (1, p. 12), "nothing can help you if you want to get cured being a mundane person" (1, p. 59), "I don't make those who busy themselves with self-perfection not to take medicine. But we, those who ourselves with self-perfection, pay great attention at consciousness. You can't stand it and take medicine like an ordinary person. Let you take it. We don't say that ordinary people can't take medicine. We only say that your level of consciousness is insufficient" (2, p. 9-11), "if you behave like an ordinary person, then, if you fell ill, you can take medicine… At least in this issue you have remained an ordinary person".

It gambles on the people's desire to be healthy, he forces people to attend his lectures: "however hard it is for you, you should go on attending the lectures… Even if you are not feeling well, you must come to the lectures" (1, c. 73).

It preaches suffering: "you should suffer some hardship, some grief and misfortune. It is inadmissible for you not to suffer anything" (1, p. 73), "most severe suffering will be most valuable for you… You should suffer as much grief as possible" (1, p. 86), "it is necessary to become selfperfected in such a difficult environment, to worry along suffering".

Popularizes violence and approves the ancient cruel traditions: "if you can't deal with someone morally, then beat him with birches, in a more serious situation behead him. He is not a man anymore, behead him. We don't need such a person who humiliates human dignity".

It describes the dangerous experience of the murder in a way that may make the teenagers or psychopaths wish to reiterate it or try if it if true.

The analyzed doctrine is highly disregarding towards the humankind and morality. While telling to follow the moral rules and moralizing, the author in fact opposes the human to those rules: "under the pollution of the intense flow of society which resembles a large colour pan, people very often take wrongful (wishes — V.V.) for the true ones" (1, p. 47), "it is very difficult for a man to understand something, because ordinary people are disoriented by the mundane society" (1, p. 234), "perhaps, somebody in your environment or at work calls you a bad person, but it doesn't mean that you are really bad. But if somebody calls you a good person, in fact you hardly deserve such praise" (1, p. 20), "you will be wrong, if you decide to do something just because it is considered to be correct in the society. The things that ordinary people consider to be good, hardly can be viewed so. And the things they consider to be bad are hardly really bad".

It humiliates the human civilization and the humankind as a whole: "there are no spiritual laws in the human society which can support morality" (1, p. 80), "as for the mankind, it is very paltry" (1, p. 20), "the mankind is now in the process of degradation. Demons are everywhere" (1, p. 93), "the mankind thinks that it is moving forward, but in fact it is moving back" (1, p. 258), "the mundane society is very bad,… it… is the lowest level of realization of the ability of the universe and Dafa" (2, p. 6), "the mankind… seems very pitiful, pitiful to the utmost degree".

The humankind's development is considered to be the way of decrease and moral degradation, not the way of progress: people "lost the possibility to live in the previous level and lost this level. But they didn't improved and didn't hold out the next level and kept degrading. In the long run they found themselves in the level where the mankind is now" (1, p. 11) "Some people became selfish and bad and couldn't hold out in the high level of hierarchy. They began to fall and kept falling. At last the found themselves in the level of ordinary people" (1, p. 85-86). "the ancient morality is worse than the modern one" (2, p. 50), "when a person got spoilt, he fall down and in the end he found himself in the place where the mankind is now".

It insists that the humankind is worth destroying: the mankind's degradation has already reached such deplorable degree, when these living beings (people — V.V.) should be annihilated (1, p. 58), "once a person finds himself in this level (of ordinary people — V.V.), he should be annihilated" (1, p. 86), "the human civilization will be annihilated. Not because it is unfair, but because a person is no good for anything".

Summarizing the data of analysis gives grounds for the following conclusions.

1. "Falun Dafa" doctrine is a variant of a pseudo-religious esoteric teaching, which is non-conventional for Ukrainian mentality.

2. The base of "Falun Dafa" doctrine is a mixture of pseudo-religious and pseudo-scientific statements and claiming that one should accept the authority of ITS leader and obey him implicitly.

3. Adopting "Falun Gong" doctrine's theories and practices might be benefitial only for the limited number of people, who tend to be dependent and perceive the reality uncritically.

4. Considerable expansion of the ideas, given in "Falun Dafa" doctrine in society (the modern Ukrainian one is not an exception) would obviously lead to the harmful consequences. This expansion is dangerous because of:

- popularizing the ignorance, superstitions about the world outlook and prejudices;

- aggravating the ideological confrontation;

- justifying the social inequality with the spiritual matters;

- devaluating the traditional and general human moral norms;

- breaking the regular interpersonal and family relationships;

- dependence and human dignity humiliation;

- doing harm to the person's health;

- justifying the sufferings and the violence.
