On December 7, 2010, Bai Xiaoying, a retiree from North China Oilfield General Hospital, died of multiple organ failure caused by white plague after rescue for 18 hours at the age of 54. In the same month, a Falun Gong website published an article, saying that Bai Xiaoying was persecuted to death.
Bai Xiaoying, female, born in October 1956 in Yumen City, Gansu Province, hadjunior middle school education. She was recruited to North China Oilfield General Hospital to be a pantryman of Nutritional Department in 1979. She started working at the neighborhood committee of security section of the hospital in 1992 and retired in October 2006.
Kaiwind interviewed Bai Xiaoying's colleague Huo Wenjin, the staffer of security section of the hospital, as well as Zhang Mi, the associate chief physician of the hospital.

Huo Wenjin and Bai Xiaoying knew each other in 1997, and then Huo was transferred to the security section of the hospital and had more contact with Bai Xiaoying because of work relations.
Huo Wenjin said, "Bai Xiaoying was quiet and steadfast in her work. She suffered from asthma at that time and often took medicine. Her daughter was at school and the family of three lived a harmony and happy life."
In order to keep fit and cure disease, Bai Xiaoying began to practice Falun Gong in 1998. After Falun Gong was banned by the state according to law in July 1999, she stopped practicing for a time. But egged on by her fellow practitioners, she practiced Falun Gong again in January 2000. As time went on, she was unable to extricate herself from Falun Gong. She also persuaded her husband, Guo Anmin, to practice Falun Gong and distribute leaflets with her.
Huo Wenjin once asked her, "You said you practice Falun Gong for curing disease, then why do you distribute leaflets?"She answered, "I can't reach Consummation if I don't do this."
Bai Xiaoying got tuberculosis in September 2008, but she firmly believed that practicing Falun Gong could build her body and cure disease and eliminate Karma for her, and she would get well without injections and medicine because anyone who practiced Falun Gong would be protected by Li Hongzhi's Law Body. All the neighbors and colleagues advised her to go to hospital for treatment, but she didn't listen. Everyday besides reading Zhuan Falun, she listened to the record of Li Hongzhi and sat in meditation, focusing all her time and energy on the practice and Fa-study.
In July 2010, Huo Wenjin and the colleague Wang Hongyong passed by their living building when they went to a bank, they saw Bai Xiaoying enjoying the cool downstairs with her neighbors. She took the initiative to greet Huo. Seeing that she didn't look well, Huo said to her euphemistically, "You can have a free physical examination as you are a retiree of our hospital and you have the convenient conditions."
She said, "Never mind. I don't take any medicines and the Master is protecting me." The neighbors with her all shook their heads.
On December 7 of the same year, Huo Wenjin was informed that Bai Xiaoying died of illness. And soon afterwards, Huo Wenjin and other people from the labor union of the hospital made arrangements for the funeral for her.
The person who sent Bai Xiaoying to hospital was her neighbor - Zhang Mi, the associate chief physician of the hospital as well as the director of health care department. Zhang said, "At first, she came to me for diagnosis, she got tuberculosis. I advised her to receive hospitalization and gave her some medicine, but she refused, which delayed the treatment. I paid a visit to her on December 6 and saw her condition was extremely serious, so I sent her to the hospital."
As soon as Bai Xiaoying was in hospital, the critically ill notice was issued. After rescue for 18 hours, she died of multiple organ failure caused by white plague on December 7 at the age of 54. Zhang Mi said that on Bai Xiaoying's deathbed, she still listened to the Fa Teaching of Li Hongzhi using a MP3 player.
