Relative of Falun Gong core figure Ye Hao dies

Ge Cuidi, former head of the Falun Gong Institution Center in Pinghu and also relative of Ye Hao, a core figure of Falun Gong, died of breast cancer in Pinghu of eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, on the evening of February 11, 2012.

Ge Cuidi, female, born in November 1942, a retired teacher of the Pinghu Experimental Primary School.

In 1992, Ge Cuidi and his husband Mr. Wang joined the Falun Gong introduced by her sister-in-law Jiang Xuemei, Ye Hao’s wife. Later, she set up a Falun Gong Institution Center in Pinghu, where she practiced Falun Gong with her husband and then both became backbones of Falun Gong.

In November 2009, Ge Cuidi’s husband died of apoplexy. In the same year, she found something strange of her breast, but she refused to have a checkup as she believed the karma will be eliminated by practicing Falun Gong, leading to her serious illness.

In March 2010, she was forced by her family to the hospital At last, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

However, Ge Cudi, who firmly believed in Falun Gong, refused to receive medical treatment and kept practicing Falun Gong, causing aggravation of the condition. She was in a coma sometimes.

On January 26, 2012, Ge Cudi was send to the Pinghu Hospital for emergent treatment. On the evening of February 11, she died at the hospital.
