Society of Disciples is too Violent and Cruel (Picture)

Recently, CCTV broadcast a feature film “Truth on Society of Disciples” with a large number of cases. The broadcast revealed the Society of Disciples’ craze for gaining wealth by defrauding others and, more importantly, the violent, bloody and cruel actions of the Society of Disciples – they tortured a sick person named Xu to death. Such a cruel case just took place in 2015.

Talking of cults and violence, people will immediately think of a pile of startling cases. For instance, for the sake of “rescuing others”, followers of Falun Gong, Wen Yuping and Lin Chunmei strangled waitress Mai Xinping to death in a hotel in Xianyang City. Followers of the Church of Almighty God, including Zhang Lidong, beat an innocent woman named Wu, who refused to provide her telephone number, to death. Also, in the Society of Disciples, there are numerous cruel cases which may equal and perhaps surpass those of other cults.

This article mainly focuses on the violence of the Society of Disciples and discloses the evil of the cult.

- For the false “testimony”, Society of Disciples resorts to violence

To recruit members, the Society of Disciples continuously creates so-called “testimony”: i.e. the miracles of the Society of Disciples. One of the testimonies is to “solve” the common issue of human beings: disease.

The Society of Disciples believes that most people get sick because they are possessed by demons and ghosts. As long as demons and ghosts are driven away, the patients will recover naturally. The Society of Disciples has called this method “driving away the ghosts and curing diseases” and has adopted this method for over 20 years.

To drive away the “ghosts”, the Society of Disciples believes that it is necessary to use violence. Under this evil thought, the Society of Disciples no longer regards patients as humans. Instead, it believes patients are related to demons and ghosts, so it thinks that to beat the patients violently is equivalent to beating demons and ghosts. There are many violent cases involving the Society of Disciples.

For instance, Hu, a member of the Society of Disciples in Pengyang County of Ningxia, took “driving away the ghosts in Wang” as a pretext to resort to violence. Hu and other people pinched Wang’s fingers with pliers, broke his fingers, pulled his hair, slapped him with palms or scriptures, and refused to give any food or water. Finally, Wang died from acute renal failure caused by external injury and lack of water.

On June 14th 2015, to develop members for the Society of Disciples, Zhai Xinyong, Yao Xiangzhi and other members in Jianli County of Hubei used villager Xu to make “testimony” and imprisoned the sick Xu for 11 days without giving any medicine or food. Also, they used violence toward Xu. Finally, Xu was tortured to death.

- For their absurd “prayers”, Society of Disciples resorts to violence

Praying is a kind of religious rite. It refers to communicating actively with the spiritual forces so as to praise, request, confess or just express thoughts or wishes. The Society of Disciples utilizes praying and changes it into a method of idolizing the head of the Society of Disciples and spreading evil ideas and fallacies.

As a method of religious rites, how can praying be related to violence? It is related to the Society of Disciples’ principle of “praying for curing”. In the Society of Disciples, praying is used for strengthening mind control and “curing diseases” which is closely related to “driving away the ghosts and curing diseases”.

Xu and Qi, members of the Society of Disciples in Cangzhou of Hebei Province, in the name of evangelism, asked patient Liu to pray by reading the prayer written by Qi. Liu was antagonistic and firmly opposed the request, so Xu adopted extreme methods. Xu poured boiling water on Liu's face and body. Then, he subdued Liu, and used the burning honeycomb briquette and chopped corn respectively to broil Liu's face and body. Finally, Liu died.

We are all ordinary people and fear violence. Any violence will be remembered forever. Like Liu, who can tolerate torture if we are doused with boiling water and broiled by the honeycomb briquette and chopped corn?

- To assault the “critics”, Society of Disciples resorts to violence

Compared with other cults, the largest characteristic of Society of Disciples is that it never conceals its ambition and always clearly indicates its desire for power. Once he had a certain number of followers, Ji Sanbao immediately expressed his “political ambition” of becoming the “emperor” of China. Ji said, “The emperors (referring to the leaders of China) can control our bodies but not our souls. As long as we are still alive, we will fight.” He said publicly, “Firstly, we will control the people’s soul. And then, we will seize power…” “Let’s eliminate the Party and then YCL. We will kill all the officials,” etc.

The actions of the Society of Disciples certainly have aroused the opposition of the people, especially the grassroots officials.

On March 17th 1990, when examining the spring ploughing, Wen Shengbing, the village director of Matahe Village, Ma’an Town, Yunxi County of Shiyan City in Hubei Province, passed the house of Zhu Rongyou and found that he had established illicit gatherings to propagandize the Society of Disciples. Wen criticized and educated Zhu but Zhu did not yield to persuasion and railed against the Communist Party, calling it evil. In great anger, Wen tore down the “cross” in Zhu’s living room. Zhu, Ding Renqun (a key member of the local Society of Disciples) and other members decided to teach Wen a lesson. They went to yank Wen out of his house, trussed him up and tried to throw him into the river. Fortunately, other village officials arrived in time and rescued Wen.

“Binding and throwing into the river” was a feudal society punishment which has been abandoned by the PRC. However, the Society of Disciples has adopted this punishment until today. What will people think of the Society of Disciples?

- To punish “apostates”, Society of Disciples resorts to violence

As President Abraham Lincoln put it: “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” That means that liars may fool some people sometimes but not all the people forever.

It is also true for the Society of Disciples. Although Ji Sanbao and the key members extravagantly publicized the Society of Disciples, they cannot cheat those followers who experience the Society of Disciples themselves. Upon realizing that the Society of Disciples is a great deception, the followers ask to leave. At that moment, the cult will use more violent methods, as the following examples demonstrate:

Zeng, a villager in Hanshou County of Hunan Province used to be the key member of a branch of the Society of Disciples. Later, he left the cult because “praying for a cure” had not rescued his father’s life. Members of the Society of Disciples pretended to be judicial personnel and kidnapped Zeng and his brother. They implemented illegal interrogation and torture for 50 hours, and finally, forced Zeng to join the Society of Disciples again. In addition, they blackmailed Zeng out of 5,000 yuan in “capturing fees”.

In August 2005, after exiting the Society of Disciples, Ma in Mianyang City of Sichuan was kidnapped by local members, including the key member, Tan. Ma was interrogated, doused with cold water, beaten and insulted for 8 days. By the time he escaped, Ma was on the verge of death.

The violence, used frequently by the Society of Disciples, causes a psychological impact on victims and society. The evil of the Society of Disciples is all deeply rooted in its nature as an evil cult. To prevent their violence, the best method is to use concerted efforts to eliminate the Society of Disciples once for all.
