The Chinese phrase“惶惶不可终日” (constant state of anxiety), according to Baidu.com, means that someone being so alarmed, nervous and distracted that he can’t even survive one single day. It is often used to describe the extreme fear. Since the Chinese government launched a worldwide hunt for Li Hongzhi 16 years ago, Li has been always in a constant state of anxiety.

Li Hongzhi had trembled with fear

On the news conference of the Ministry of Public Security on July 29, 1999, the speaker said: investigations of the public security authority revealed that Li Hongzhi organized and used the “Research Society of Falun Dafa” and manipulated Falun Gong to advocate superstition and spread fallacies and hoodwink people and then created death. By July 28, according to incomplete statistics in 30 provinces (regions, municipalities) across the country, 743 people had died due to Falun Gong practices. Meanwhile, the organization had planned, organized assembly, demonstrations and crowds to disturb order at public places without legal application and permission; these behaviors have violated regulations of Article 290, Article 296 and Article 300 of the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China and been suspected of committing the crime of disturbing order at public places. In accordance with regulations of Article 123 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Public Security issued a warranty for arrest to public security authorities across the country to list Li Hongzhi as wanted. At the same time, the Ministry sent international assistant investigation notification to bring Li to justice.

On July 30, several Chinese newspapers based in the United States published the news of the warranty for arrest for Li Hongzhi by China’s Ministry of Public Security in noticeable positions. The China Press published the news from Beijing in the front-page with a big title “China Launched a Worldwide Hunt for Li Hongzhi”. Ming Pao based in New York also reported the news of Beijing issuing wanted circular of Li Hongzhi with a banner headline, attached with the official warranty for arrest from the Ministry of Public Security and Li’s photo. World Journal and Sing Tao Daily also published the news of the hunt for Li Hongzhi by China’s Ministry of Public Security.

These reports did strike terror into guilt-conscious Li Hongzhi. He became as timid as a hare. After Falun Gong had been banned, Li arranged his wife Li Rui, his daughter Li Meige, his mother Lu Shuzhen and his younger brother Li Donghui to arrive in the United States. During his stay in Australia, out of fear of being arrested by the Chinese government which could take advantaging the friendly relationship with Australia, Li Hongzhi displayed his ignorance: “If we have done something wrong, I can go back to China to accept criticism and correct them.” He was more like “a turtle retracting its head into its shell”. Before the US government and the parliament made decisions about Falun Gong, Li hid himself in remote mountains in the excuse of “observing the behaviors the earthlings and followers”, but in fact he was waiting for the response of the US government. During that period, Li published “My Statement”, according to which, “Regarding the event that the practitioners went to Zhongnanhai to report situations, at that time, I was transferring at Beijing on my way to Australia and I left without knowing what had happened in Beijing.” “I will not oppose the government now or in the future. People can go against us, but we should not treat people in the same way. We should not treat people as enemies.” Even if he has obtained the green card, he dares not show his face in the public. He fled hither and thither by car in a sneaky way. Li handed the commanding power to “Minghui.org” controlled by Ye Hao; the one who was active in the public is Zhang Erping, who claims himself as the spokesperson of Falun Gong.

No side of Li is like “the Supreme God” in the universe! He is completely a trembling cur in the water.

Li Hongzhi emboldens himself in this way

After Falun Gong is legally banned by the Chinese government, according to medi’s confirmation, Li has obtained the green card. Yu Shuning, press spokesman of the Chinese embassy in the United Stated mentioned that there is no treaty of extradition between China and the United States. Having known that China’s extradition request was declined by the United Stated, acting out of normal behavior, Li Hongzhi revealed his possession of the green card, saying that he is a legal immigrant under the protection of American law in a provoking attitude of turning against the Chinese government. On the Fa Conference in San Francisco in October 2000, after saying “it’s been a long time”, Li, no longer being obsequious, started off saying that “Our Dafa, I am telling you, is out of the league of the verification of anyone. Because all lives, including all lives in the universe” are created by it. That’s why no one is qualified enough to verify it.” The speech demonstrates how Li emboldens himself under the shelter of western countries; it also lays the foundation for him to pick up pieces, consolidate internal situations and go further on the Anti-China road.

Getting wild with the situation, Li Hongzhi has become a “bully on the hard bow”. On July 10, 2005, Minghui.org published Notice on Five Pieces of Scriptures with the authorization from Li Hongzhi. It is about requiring the modifications of 5 pieces of Li’s scriptures: In Reference to a Prophecy, Deciphering the Last Three Stanzas of the Plum Blossom Poem, Teaching Fa at the Fa Conference in Florida U.S.A, Not for Politics, and Teaching Fa at the Conference of Asia-Pacific Practitioners. All modifications are related to the identification of the nature of Chinese Communist Party and communism, modifying all “Chinese Communist Party” and “communism” in the original scriptures into “Chinese Evil Communist Party” and “evil communism”. In the Not for Politics, he even bewitched the practitioners: “In order to facilitate the earthlings to understand the nature of the evil party and why it persecutes followers of Dafa, it’s necessary for the earthlings to understand the ‘Nine Comments’…today all gods are destroying all elements of the party…’Nine Comments’ is saving all beings poisoned by the evil…to enable all beings to see what are the elements behind the Chinese Evil Communist Party.” On the Fa Conference at DC. Washington U.S.A on July 22, 2007 after Falun Gong had been banned, Li Hongzhi unscrupulous stated that: “July 20 is a special date of great significance to us; it may play an important role in the future history.” “Whatever the old force does, according to the relationship of mutual generation and restriction in the universe, it is publicizing for the followers of Dafa.”

Big talking, face flushing—Li acts out of normal behavior exactly to cover his previous embarrassment unbearable to recall.

Starting with a farce, ending with failure

We should also see that the reason why the “warranty for arrest” has made Li anxious all the time is because of the fact which he dares not imagine and is not willing to hear about: Falun Gong is bound to end with a wordless result: starting with a farce and ending with failure”.

After Falun Gong was banned, Li Hongzhi has never stopped fighting for the existence of Falun Gong. In 2000, an article titled “Comments on Several Articles from the Overseas Version of People’s Daily of Falun Gong” signed by “Falun Dafa Disciples from Mainland China” to complain about the injustice upon Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong was published on the Falun Gong website. The article “refutes” nearly 10 articles revealing Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong published on the overseas version of People’s Daily, declaring that these articles “distort the facts”, “defame the heavenly Fa regardless of good and evil”, “slander Falun Dafa and its founder” and “have brought severely adverse consequences”. The author also queried the newspaper in “a righteous manner”: “Our master is now “in the mountain” to observe the practice of the disciples and the earthlings. He will never show up again. How is it possible for him to conduct “various kinds of conspiracy activities”, “sell out himself to seek refuge” “from a head of a cult to the tool of international anti-China force?” The author accuses the editorial office and authors of these articles: “It will not work to defame the great enlightened, Buddhist doctrine and its practitioners with your mentality and nature of mind! Pull back before it is too late!”

Ridiculous! Who should pull back before it is too late? On July 29, 1999, according to the interview of the spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security with a journalist from the Xinhua News Agency regarding the warranty for arrest of Li Hongzhi, “the Research Society of Falun Dafa” had not been registered according to law and had been engaged in illegal activities, advocating superstition and spreading fallacies, hoodwinking people, inciting and creating disturbances, and jeopardizing social stability. Therefore, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic China had decided on July 22 that “the Research Society of Falun Dafa” and the Falun Gong organization under its control are held to be illegal and are therefore banned. On October 30, the Twelfth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People’s Congress approved the Decisions on Banning Cult Organizations, Preventing and Punishing Cult Activities. Afterwards, some well-known media and anti-cult experts at home and abroad all revealed and criticized this cult organization. The Russian television said that: Falun Gong cult of death is recruiting followers; a New Zealand celebrity in politics media: why shouldn’t we involve with Falun Gong; BBC of England: the majority of Hong Kong people have no good feelings towards Falun Gong; Reuters: China condemns Falun Gong to violate human rights; Dr. Heather Kavan, senior lecturer of the School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing and researcher in extreme religion and transition state, said in her interview with Kaifeng.com that the doctrines of Falun Gong are of acute aggressiveness; Catherine Chernekova, a journalist from Russia’s “Channel 8”, said in her regular show that Falun Gong is of strong aggressiveness (Kaifeng.com Russian Media: Falun Gong is an organization extremely harmful to the society). Ricky Alan Ross, famous American cult specialist, analyzed Falun Gong founded in China by two chapters in his new book Cults Inside Out, saying that Falun Gong is completely in line with core standards of cult definitions. Falun Gong cult not only has created danger to the society in China, but also attracts the same attention from across the world, such as in North America (Kaifeng.com: New Book from Cult Specialist Revealing the Brainwash truth of Cult).

Just like all reactionary forces in the world, Li Hongzhi and his group do not reconciled to fail: they will not exit the historical stage automatically. From roaring “exiting the party”, “Nine Comments” to fabricating “organ harvesting” “torture”, from continuous appeal to lawsuit failure everywhere, from challenging the law to being sanctioned, all these have proved that Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong overestimate themselves. Their greatest fear is that they are not appreciated by the international anti-China forces, that they fail to obtain abundant funds to support various websites and heavy expenditures, that they are abandoned by the international anti-China forces. Therefore Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong show up on the stage from behind the scene from time to time and resort to extreme measures to make uproars and to incite.

Despite all farces, the cult will doom to end. Up to this day, Li Hongzhi is not just whining restlessly, he is walking towards the decline.
