Sport360 reported on Feb. 27, 2017 that Ghazal Tavanaei, a Falun Gong practitioner was promoting Falun Gong in the UAE. Rick Ross, American cult expert made comments to warn that cult Falun Gong contradicts with Islam and Koran.

Rick Ross commented that:

Falun Gong is a controversial religious organization led by Li Hongzhi, a man exiled from China who now lives in the United States. Falun Gong is based upon the supernatural claims of Li Hongzhi, which include that he is a channel for spiritual revelation with no equal in the world today. Li claims there are many gods and his philosophy is not compatible with the beliefs of Islam, which is monotheistic.

When people are approached by Falun Gong devotees they may be misled to believe that Falun Gong is not a religious belief system, but rather just a set of exercises or form of meditation. However. the group, which has been called a "cult," is based upon the faith claims of its practioners who are deeply devoted to their leader "Master Li."

Before becoming involved in Falun Gong it's important to fully understand to what extent it is based upon absolute devotion to Master Li and his dictates.

And when an Muslim commented that Sometime keeping fit does challenges his religious belief system, he pointed out that:

If you are Muslim it's easy to understand how Master Li's teachings would directly contradict your religious belief system and be confusing.

Li casts himself as a prophet who channels supernatural powers, which is the key to the healing power of Falun Gong. Li's prophetic position as a channel between Falun Gong practitioners and higer powers is in direct contradiction to the Koran and beliefs of Muslims.

Of course Falun Gong practitioners willl not admit this openly to potential recruits because it would cause them to hesitate. Falun Gong thus relies on a level of deliberate deception by withholding such information until later after the new recruit is sufficiently indoctrinated.

No Muslim would ever withhold such crucial information about Islam. That is, that Islam is based upon the revelation of the Prophet Muhammed. And that his revelation is the basis for the Koran, which proclaims there is only one god.

The book 'Zhuan Falun' is a religious writing based upon the revelation of Li Hongzhi, who is the prophet of Falun Gong. Li teaches that there are many gods not just one like Islam.

Can a Muslim embrace two opposing belief systems simulaneously?

The Prophet Muhammed teaches there is one God and Master Li says that the Koran is wrong and that there are many gods.

Is Master Li wrong about this?

Falun Gong's defining element is its leader Master Li who claims to have supernatural powers. My source is the Washington Post, which quotes first hand what true believers in Master Li that have met him personally face to face have to say about him.

See https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/2000/02/27/for-whom-the-gong-tolls/bab9382d-0b90-44da-b4ae-cef517460652/?utm_term=.740511f81c79

Do you deny that Master Li teaches Falun Gong practitioners that there are many gods, not just one as in Islam as Muslims believe?

Li's teachings are not compatable with Islam or the Koran.
