Maternal love is pure and unforgettable in that it is the greatest love in the world. However, a 12-year-old pupil from Hengxi Experimental Primary School in Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, expressed her feelings towards her mother in this way: "I have no impression of my mother." She even said that her mother had done bad things, as she tried to poison her to death and burn down her family house when she was a child. The name of the pupil mentioned above is Xiao Qin.
Xiao Qin's mother is called Yang Jinxian, a native of Xitou Village, Xianju County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. Influenced by the Almighty God cult's heretical fallacies, Yang Jinxian became a so-called God's elect. When Xiao Qin was only one week old, her mother, Yang Jinxian, left her to "preach the gospel" outside, and she has never been heard of since.
Yang Jinxian, who came from a family in a remote mountainous area, married Shen Zhihua from Xitou Village in 2003. Shen's family was quite satisfied with Yang after her marriage. To their neighbors, Shen Zhihua and Yang Jinxian were a very capable young couple who fulfilled their family and work responsibilities very well. Shen Zhihua worked away from home, while Yang Jinxian took care of her children at home. Although not very rich, they lived a happy life.

Some people even heard Yang Jinxian say that she was preaching the gospel together with others. The Almighty God cult organization had fabricated a set of heretical fallacies to brainwash its followers, deceiving them into believing in, loving, and worshipping the “God”. As Yang Jinxian fell deeper and deeper into the abyss of the evil cult, she became increasingly indifferent to her family members and relatives, and she spent more and more time "preaching the gospel” in other places away from home. One day in 2006, Yang Jinxian suddenly returned home and asked her parents-in-law for money. When her parents-in-law asked her why she wanted it, she said she wanted to give it to “God’s family” as "dedication money". Her parents-in-law refused her, saying that their house needed to be renovated and that it would cost a lot of money. Yang Jinxian, who had been brainwashed by the Almighty God cult into doing whatever she was told to do in order to satisfy the “God", burst into a fury and had a fierce quarrel with her parents-in-law after hearing their words. She threatened them by saying, "Don't you want to have the house renovated? I will burn it down and see how you have it renovated!”
Yang Jinxian had his mind increasingly controlled by the heretical fallacies of the Almighty God cult. In the blink of an eye, her daughter Xiao Qin turned one-year-old, the age when a baby is most adorable and in need of maternal love. However, Yang Jinxian took another wrong step forward on the long path to "God". She proposed a divorce to her husband Shen Zhihua in order to “get closer to God”. Her family members tried every means to persuade her to return to normal life by quitting the evil cult but to no avail. She was bewitched by the "kindness” of the “God’s family”, caring nothing about her own family, husband, and daughter. She even threatened them by saying, "I’ll put poison in the thermos and poison you all to death!”
After that, Yang Jinxian, who had failed to get a divorce, ran away from home, and she had been unheard of for eight years. Out of desperation, and for the sake of their family, her husband Shen Zhihua left his hometown to work in other places. His daughter Xiao Qin and her grandparents lived a hard life together amid expectation and suffering. Xiao Qin even dreamed at night that her mother had come back home.
Eight years later, Shen Zhihua no longer had any illusions about his wife’s return home. He realized that the Almighty God cult's so-called “helping you achieve your aim” was to break up its believers' families. Unfortunately, Yang Jinxian, who was addicted to the evil cult, hadn't realized it at all. To Shen Zhihua, life had to go on although his wife had run away from home; besides, his daughter needed to have a new life. Therefore, Shen Zhihua filed a divorce complaint with the court. After receiving a notice from the court, Yang Jinxian and Shen Zhihua met once for the sake of divorce. Since then, they had never seen each other again. During the divorce proceeding, Yang Jinxian never offered to meet her daughter whom she hadn’t seen for years.
Shen’s dream for a family reunion and his daughter’s longing for maternal love were all completely shattered by the evil "lightning" of the "Almighty God" cult! Now, Shen’s only wish is to cultivate his daughter into a person of ability in the future. Shen said: "It is the Almighty God cult that has destroyed my family. I must educate my daughter properly so that she will study hard in school instead of believing in the Almighty God cult as her mother did!"
Hopefully, Xiao Qin, who is growing up in painful expectation, will live and study happily. When she comes of age, she may forgive her mother, but she will never forgive the Almighty God cult: it was the evil cult that had taken away her mother and destroyed her family!
