“Uterine tumors usually come from serious deviant behavior or fraudulence of a mother or her children”, “Pain in the back is often an ill-omen to life-threating dangers”, “Mental retardation of a daughter is caused by the bad karma as she was forced to die by her mother in their past lives”，all these absurd claims come from the propaganda material of a company called Foshan Endorn Psychological Consultation Co., Ltd., which boasts its “consciousness-based deep communication” technique.
It is reported that in the first trial regarding the crime of illegal business operations by a company in Foshan, several defendants were accused of illegally publishing, printing, copying and distributing books, periodicals, and video /audio materials. Among those accused, the principal offender, Mr. Wu, was sentenced to 7 years in prison and fined 500,000 Yuan. After careful investigation, reporters from Nadu and N Video found out that in this illegal business, the offenders used a psychological consulting company as a cover to deceive victims by using terms such as “psychological consulting”, “consciousness-based deep communication”, etc. Some victims said they were told by trainers of the company that problems concerning illness, family life, personal relationships, wealth, etc., could all be solved by way of “reviewing previous incarnations” plus “deep communication” with “the soul of past life” or “the malignant lesion of a patient”.
Some victims admitted, “We must have been brainwashed, and I think the tuition fee is too expensive.” A defendant who was in charge of “consulting” confessed to the reporters from Nandu that “he himself doesn’t believe the so-called previous incarnation stuff”.
The company’s textbook claims that since “physical diseases are created by mind”, there is no need to take injection or medicine when people are sick
“Physical diseases are produced by the mind, and the fatigue is also dominated by the state of mind. For example, women's uterine lesions or uterine tumors usually come from mothers or children concerned who have serious deviant behavior or fraudulence, or the result of long-term complex that cannot be solved.”
This is what Foshan Endorn Company claims in its textbook for "cases" who come to seek "psychological counseling" and "deep communication". Here, the “cases” refer to customers who turn to the company for counselling services.
Reporters from Nandu learned that after Mr. Wu set up his company in Foshan in 2009, he kept further developing and preaching the so-called “deep communication” theory to draw in “cases” under the guise of solving their problems regarding wealth, physiological issues, personal relationships, etc.
In the company’s office located in the Chancheng District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, Nandu reporters saw training materials scatter all over the place. These materials were published without publication license from the state, and contents of these materials were quite absurd.
According to the textbook, all physical diseases come from the mind. “It is always the mind that goes wrong first, then the physical condition follows, reflecting the state of mind.” “Financial pressure would cause problems on the patient’s lower back or stomachache.” “Hepatitis patients are usually hounded by fear or anger that runs deep.” “Children’s bed-wetting represents fears for their father.” “Many patients with cancer usually have long-term unresolved emotional problems, or have hidden deviant behaviors, resulting in long-term guilty feelings”. “People who suffer from back pain represent that their lives are threatened”.
Several "cases" told reporters, the Company's employees preached that through Deep Communication technology, they could easily achieve the goal of "clearing obstacles of the mind".
In order to prove the "effectiveness" of the "Deep Communication" technology, the textbook gave an example, claiming that a child who often has a cold, cough and asthma must have been “excessively” restricted by adults at home. “It's easy to untie this knot, as long as his family removes these restrictions and respects wishes of the child, the child's cold, bronchus and asthma will be getting better immediately. And you don't need an injection or medicine at all.”
Nandu reporters noted that, besides its textbooks, the company also launched a so-called “wave meter” that can measure "past life reincarnation" and "personality traits", charging 1,000 yuan for each test.
"I think the test is quite accurate. The instrument can measure your mental and physical condition, and then according to these measurements, experts can give a professional interpretation. People who have measured say it’s very accurate." Mr. He, a "communicator" of the company, said that the so-called wave meter was developed by Austrian scientists, and that "communicators" could be trained to help "individual cases" interpret these reports.
On the spot, Foshan policemen demonstrated the test process of the “wave meter” to Nandu reporters.
The police put a computer on the table with a pair of earphones on the side. It was alleged that “cases” had to wear earphones during the test so as to get “correct” results.
However, the police just put the earphones on the table, and no one touched it. After inputting the name and birthday of a fabricated “case” at random, the computer screen began to calculate automatically, and finally gave out the so-called test results, which showed a tester’s, "past life identity", "past life area", "previous life justice", "cause of death" and "previous life ability" etc. Of course, here, both the “tester” and the results are totally groundless.

The Nandu reporters learned that the victim, a Mrs. Yang, came to the company for help because of her mentally retarded daughter. She said, “In the past two years, I spent all our money on Deep Communication, and we even borrowed money for it after running out of money.” It turned out that her daughter’s condition didn’t improve at all after a total of 170 hours of “communication”.

Ms. Yang's daughter was about 30 years old, her mental retardation was what the mother cared about most. So Ms. Yang went to the company to "communicate" with the alleged "communicators".
"One day, the teacher led me into my previous life, where, I was a landlady there, and my daughter was my servant girl. During my previous life, I forced her to die. So in my current life, she comes to me to collect debts. And I have to pay the price of taking care of my mentally retarded daughter." Yang claimed that she had "communicated" for 170 hours in total.
The cost of “communication” for an hour is quite expensive. Mr. Bai, a former “communicator” of the company, told Nandu reporters that he charged member students 400 Yuan per hour, and non-member students 450 Yuan per hour.
“I’m not sure whether the ‘previous life’ that the company guided me to see is true or not. The communicator asked me to visualize my daughter’s soul in front of me. Then I talked to my daughter’s soul and was told that she would return to normal in a year. But actually, after 2 or 3 years, my daughter still suffers from the illness now.” Mrs. Yang spent so much that she even had to borrow money to pay for further “deep communication”. In the end, she realized that she was cheated, so she reported the situation to police.
According to the company’s design, a “case” can eventually become a “communicator” by keeping learning the technique.
A Ms. Shao, a victim from Guangxi Province, attended seven classes and paid more and more money each time until August 2019, when she realized being deceived, and then she contacted police on her own initiative.
In May 2016, she spent by chance 1,800 Yuan in Guangxi on the “parent-child public welfare class” held by the company. Two months later, she spent another 11,800 Yuan on the “mind and gene modification class”. In August 2016, she signed up for the “perfect reality class” with 26,800 Yuan, and then went to Guangdong to spend 11,000 yuan on the "credit class".
“In fact, it is a step-by-step trick to lure victims into the fraud, and the contents of those classes were all about the Deep Communication theory”, Ms. Shao said. After coming to her sense, she realized that she was “brainwashed” and “mentally controlled”.
“In the class of the ‘perfection for reality’, the instructor talked about how to communicate with the ghosts. And he asked us to ‘feel it ourselves to tell whether we sensed any ice-cold feeling or not’. He explained that, besides us 200 students presented, there were so many other invisible beings in the classroom, attending the session together with us, which gave me goose bumps.” Mrs. Shao said, after such classes, she became “frightened and oversensitive”. She was told that “if you don’t continue to study these courses further, you would be hounded by those ghosts”. She said this was exactly the reason why she kept paying for such courses.
Police seized a large number of illegal publications during the operation, and the principal offender was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment at the first trial
On December 6, 2018, under the organization and command of the Ministry of Public Security and the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, with the strong support and cooperation of the police from Beijing, Shandong, Guangxi Provinces, the Foshan police started wrapping up the case regarding the “Endorn Company” and arrested all 12 suspects during the police operation. The total of 127 employees, trainers, and students of the company were brought back from 5 involved sites in Foshan for review, and more than 6,000 copies of illegal publication were seized.

“The company carries out harmful training and collects franchise fees, communication fees, wave meter fees and other fees, illegally accumulating a total of more than 63 million yuan." Nandu reporters learned from the police handling the case that the company offered courses such as "spiritual genetic modification class", "perfect reality class" and "credit class", purchased and printed books and audio-visual products that had not been legally published for all kinds of teaching, training and so-called "deep communication", and developed district centers to recruit students, charging them high fees.
The police handling the case told the Nandu reporters that in order to support those training courses, the Endorn Company published, printed and distributed a total of 44,689 books, 1,339 periodicals, as well as 2,850 audio/video products, all of which were illegal publications.
Recently, Nandu reporters learned that in early 2020, the Foshan Court of Guangdong Province sentenced Mr. Wu, the principal offender, to seven years’ imprisonment plus a fine of 500,000 yuan for the crime of illegal operation.
