If we earnestly think about it, we can easily find that Li Hongzhi has used only a few tricks to control practitioners of Falun Gong, rather than possessing extraordinary skills. However, through these few tricks, Li Hongzhi forced the broad masses of Falun Gong practitioners to take the road of opposing socialism and the government, making them tools and pawns for his evil motives.
Li Hongzhi's first trick is boasting how "great" and "capable" he is, and that he can "cure all diseases," thus making kind and honest people believe that he really is "great." Half believing and half doubting, these people attended his lessons, received his "power" and read his books. In this way, step by step, they fell into Li Hongzhi's traps.
His second trick is adopting methods to control practitioners' thinking. Once a person has fallen into Li Hongzhi's trap, it is not easy for him or her to get out of it. First of all, Li Hongzhi has worked out a series of strict rules and regulations, and set up organizations from the top to the bottom-"Falun Dafa Research Society," local general instruction centers and instruction stations. Secondly, Li Hongzhi has asked practitioners to read his books, and listen to his preaching tapes every day, and study and discuss them regularly. During this period, practitioners are not allowed to read other books or do other things, and can not have any doubts about "Falun Gong." In addition, practitioners should always say, "according to the Master's words."
Li Hongzhi's third trick is deceiving and threatening practitioners to make them sink deeper and deeper in the trap, finally leading to personal and social tragedies. Li Hongzhi used "the theory of all-round fulfillment" and "going to a higher level" to cheat practitioners. Practitioners must strictly abide by every order he gives; otherwise, they cannot achieve "all-round fulfillment," "go up to a higher level," or "open their celestial eyes." As a result the broad masses of Falun Gong practitioners who had lost their subjective initiative and judgment ended up besieging news organizations and government organs on several hundred occasions, causing great harm to society and people's lives. Li Hongzhi has also compelled practitioners to submit to him, saying: "If you betray the law, the devils will come to kill you." He has also instructed practitioners to oppose the Chinese government, saying: "At the critical moment, you should stand the test, and should not be afraid of anything. Even if you lose your heads, your bodies will still sit in meditation." (Falun Buddhist Law-Essential Introductions). "Once the people know the true significance of truth and life, they will do a thing, even at the risk of their lives." ("Some of My Impressions")
Look at Li Hongzhi's three tricks and you will see that there is nothing new about them. He has followed the same lines of the founders of other cults around the world. Now we are exposing his tricks to the Falun Gong believers who have not yet come to their senses, smashing them and throwing them into a fire so that they can do no more harm to the people!
