● Jiang Chaojun and Jiang Xiuxia, a couple, farmers from Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province, both fell obsessed with Falun Gong and were eager to ascend to the "paradise" and become gods. On the night of December 3, 1997, Jiang committed suicide after killing his wife with a knife, and orphaned their 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.
● Wu Deqiao, a worker of supplying and marketing community from Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province, cut his wife to death with a kitchen knife on the night of February 26, 1998, just because his wife tried to stop him as he was practicing Falun Gong. Wu believed that a woman around would affect his practicing.
● Dong Ning, a worker from Changhong Electric Motor Company, Weihai City, Shandong Province, believed that he was going to reach Consummation. On January 7, 1999, Dong hit and injured his coworkers with a mould. The next day, he ran after his father with a knife who narrowly and luckily escaped, but unfortunately a neighbor and her son were injured. He said: "Someone called me to take away my relatives or friends. Killing a person would make me reach Consummation, and then I can save people."
● Zhu Changjiu,a Falun Gong practitioner from Qingta Town, Renqiu City, Hebei Province, killed his parents at home on November 26, 1999, just because his parents burnt down his Falun Gong books.
● Tong Yan, a worker from a water supply company of Liaohe Oil Filed, on the night of December 16, 1999, she shouted "up to the heaven" and killed her own daughter Xu Che on the bed, who was only six years old. Later Tong confessed: "A devil told me that I could cultivate into a Buddha if I killed my daughter."
● Long Gang,a farmer from Shuangshi Town, Yongchuan, Chongqing, fell obsessed with Falun Gong and also forced his six-year-old son to practice together with him. On July 17, 1999, he jumped into a river holding his son in arms and died at the age of 31. His son survived after emergency treatment.
● Dong Li, a villager from Dapingfang Town, Chaoyang County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. On the night of February 3, 2002, the 37-year-old Dong, bewitched by Li Hongzhi's fallacy, smashed mercilessly his wife and daughter in deep sleeping with a pick. His 37-year-old wife, Meng Xiurong, died; and his 14-year-old daughter, Dong Yudan, was seriously wounded.
● Lan Yunchang,a Falun Gong practitioner from Zhuyu Village, Daxiang Town, Rong'an County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. On April 16, 2001, he axed to death Wei Shaoming, a lone eldly man from the same village. Lan said: "I sent him to the Falun world for a happy life, and I will follow him after reaching Consummation."
● Qiu Defeng,male, graduated from a junior college, born in 1972, from Chengmai County, Hainan Province. He began to practice Falun Gong in May 1994. At around 7:00 a.m. on December 11, 2001, he met Qiu Junxian, his uncle, in the bedroom. He imagined that his uncle would murder him, so he asked his uncle if it was correct. The old man did not reply his wild talk. Qiu Defeng grabbed a kitchen knife and cut his uncle on the neck and head, and finally killed him. Afterwards, Qiu Defeng laid some firewood besides the corpse and burned it. The police was called in and he was caught before he set fire on his uncle's bedroom and committed self-immolation as he had expected.
● Fu Yibin, residing in Xicheng District, Beijing, on the evening of November 25, 2001, killed his own father and his wife, and seriously wounded his own mother.
● Chen Fuzhao, a Falun Gong practitioner from Zhejiang Province, poisoned and killed fifteen junkmen or beggars and one Buddhist from May 25 to June 26, 2003, for the sake of improving his Falun Gong "power."
