The Chinese government, in the spirit of humanitarianism, implements the policy of unity, education, and redemption toward most Falun Gong practitioners after Falun Gong was banned, which enables most Falun Gong followers to extricate from spiritual shackles of the cult and live a normal life.

● Liu Yunfang, a Falun Gong practitioner participating in the self-burning incident on Tian'anmen Square: Falun Gong is a synonym for ignorance.
● Chen Guo, a Falun Gong practitioner participating in the self-burning incident on Tian'anmen Square: I think Falun Gong has developed into a cult with anti-human and anti-society characteristics. I hope those who still believe in this cult can be awakened and throw it away. I don't want to see another victim like me.
● Zhu Xiuzhi, assistant principal of a primary school in Jiutai City of Jilin Province: It is Li Hongzhi who deceives the public, not others. Falun Gong is a through-and-through cult.
● Chen Bin, the instructor of Falun Gong Assistant Station at Xi'an Jiaotong University: Li Hongzhi is an ordinary man, a bad man, not an immortal. Li Hongzhi leads people astray. Li is a genuine swindler morally, economically and politically.

●Tony Smith, a citizen from Georgia, USA: In light of some statements reported in a 28 February 2003 revised draft translation on a clearwisdom.net web page to have been said by Li Hongzhi...contradict earlier statements of Li Hongzhi himself. I do not, as of today 8 March 2003, any longer recognize Li Hongzhi as an authentic Teacher/Master...I do not think that Li Hongzhi can "turn...[his followers]...into Gods.
