Town of North Hempstead and Don’t Move Away teaching “Quigong” to residents
Date: 2012-11-21 Source: chinafxj

The Town is voting tonight on the fate of Roslyn Country Club as residents continue to recover from "Sandy"and the "nor’easter".  Who knows if anyone is aware of this?  And if they do know, are they able to attend this meeting?  Five (5) people will decide the fate of our easement rights when the Township votes for a park district.  Why is there such a rush?  Contacting all 668 residents for a community vote was not part of the agenda.

Recently, a very important fact came to light.  Town Residents have been learning "Quigong"from both the Township and Don’t Move Away, a non-profit for seniors.

They may not be aware that this is practiced by the cult known as Falun Gong.  Quote from Falun Gong link:

FU TIESHAN Chairman of the China Catholic Patriotic Association

"The televised suicidal act by seven Falun Gong practitioners from Henan Province, who set themselves on fire, further exposes the fact that Falun Gong is a cult, not a religion, nor health-enhancing qigong exercises, because Falun Gong followers, with their minds controlled by the fallacies of Falun Gong, usually lack the rational capabilities and the sense of normal people."

YU PINHUA Member of the China Human Rights Society

"Falun Gong instigates the diehards to go to extremes, from refusing to see doctors or take medicine after falling ill, to eventually participating in self-destructive activities in groups in accordance with the ‘great scriptures’of Falun Gong in order to realize the fallacies of ‘ascending to heaven’and ‘eternal completion,’which is certainly not accepted by a civilized society."

The Town of North Hempstead is supporting this type of "exercise"for seniors:

Internet search:  "The Senior Citizens of Westbury, Inc. (SCWC), is housed in the Village of …Village of Westbury, followed by support from the Town of North Hempstead, the …Wellness Programs –Fitness, strength training, Tai Chi, nutrition, yoga, Qigong and …"

Are the Township and Don’t Move Away both unaware that this is a cult practice?  Before doing any "practices"with residents any "exercise"should be completely checked out by both.  We question why Don’t Move Away (DMA) is teaching Quigong to the seniors in Roslyn Country Club?  And why seniors, with whom DMA have regular meetings, are predominating the Township meetings on the fate of Roslyn Country Club?

Did you know that Falun Gong owns an estate in Old Westbury on the corner of Wheatley Road at the LIE north service road?  They were kicked out of Bejing in 1999.

Our seniors do not have all of the facts and rely on those whom they TRUST. This message is designed to alert those without knowledge of this cult practice.
