All human technology is not worth a thought in the eyes of the Falun Gong, led by Li Hongzhi. For example, from the book "Zhuan Falun", Li referred to modern science as "human science" and labled the whole human race as "ordinary people". The members of Falun Gong are all "gods", and may also be "great gods", and they "know the cosmic truth and have insights into life". They have all opened their “Godeyes,” could "control minds”, or “could be heard from a long distance” or have other “magic abilities”. If they have mobile phones, it shows that their abilities are fake, or shows that the masters wants a mobile phone simply as a decoration, which demonstrates that he has a “human heart”, pursuing vanity.

Originally, the disciples "tried hard to promote” the “anti-eavesdropping" mobile phone for profit, and these people obviously got that order from the "main master". This indicates that the ideas of old Li Hongzhi are unclear, or that the disciples' understanding is not good enough, which leads to poor communication between the master and his disciples. And the biggest possibility is that Li clearly “asked” his disciples for some kind of mobile phone, but Li doesn’t dare to admit it and elaborately shifts the blame to others, which means that he could not say that he had nothing to do with this and he was also afraid to admit that he was the promoter behind the "mobile phone" event. 

At this point, we can't help but ask: what kind of mobile phone do you want “other than this kind of mobile phone”? It is not necessary to explore the specific function and model of the phone Li Hongzhi wanted, but that Li Hongzhi had “asked for” the phone is unmistakable.

As the head of a cult, Li Hongzhi naturally is on the opposite side to science, and he said, "science is a tiny bit in the whole vast universe." The implication is that scientists such as Copernicus, Darwin, Newton and Einstein are very small and insignificant. But who are the real scientists? In fact, a few years ago, Li Hongzhi laid the groundwork: "human technology cannot reach the higher understanding of the universe... But the people who practice with us can see that the Buddha is the highest scientist."
