Foreign Internet users criticize Falun Gong’s announcements of “three withdrawals” in the name of dead people.
Core prompt: Gregory Groba, a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) and famous anti-cult expert, prompted the removal of the “three- withdrawal” column from Falun Gong’s www. epochtimes.com. Many Internet users ridiculed the column after Gregory exposed Falun Gong’s despicable trick of making announcements on behalf of dead people. This disgraceful action revealed the failure of Falun Gong’s so-called “three- withdrawal” activity and and this facet of their anti-China conspiracy.
Many Russia-speaking Internet users ridiculed the ignorance and superstition of the Falun Gong cult. As a result, Falun Gong removed the self-defaming “three- withdrawal” information from its website.
In his article The Political Necromancy of the Falun Gong Cult, Gregory focused on this cult’s eye-catching activity of writing and making political announcements in the name of dead people. In one of the columns on www.epochtimes.com, there were several thousand announcements of this sort up until the end of 2016.
Announcement No. 3417: Please view me as the former COMMUNIST PARTY member. Mirgorodskaya Natalia (deceased) from Stavropolskiy Kray, March 18, 2013.
Announcement No. 3409: I want to withdraw from Young Pioneers, Youth League and COMMUNIST PARTY. Olga Marigina (deceased) from Nigesen of Ukrain, March 13, 2013.
What makes us speechless is that those announcements made by the dead were used to help Falun Gong and its anti-China program paint a statistical diagram of a supposed “Communist Party-withdrawal wave”, which includes all the announcements made by the deceased.
In addition to using dead people’s announcements, the statistics concerned also include “anonymous announcements via email” and the announcements made by Falun Gong practitioners of different countries who have never been a member of the Communist Party.
Quit the COMMUNIST PARTY in the name of dead people
After The Political Necromancy of the Falun Gong Cult was published, the column of deceased people’s announcements was removed from Falun Gong’s website. The real reason is that Falun Gong’s publicity aroused a great deal of negative attention, not only from us, but from Russian-speaking Internet users as well. Moreover, the effect was counterproductive.. Those announcements (which have now been deleted) have been forwarded to many websites and forums, thus stimulating a heated discussion among Internet users. They cast doubt on the cult followers’ special ability to contact ghosts and get authorization from dead relatives, and suggest that those making announcements in the name of the dead people have mental troubles. Some even said jokingly that Maximilien Robespierre and Jean-Paul Marat should be expelled from Jacobins now that they’re dead. There are some quotations from the posts by the netizens on www.bigpark.com.
Constangin Figelskin: They don’t just tell lies by themselves, but on behalf of their own relatives.
Krof Taylo: They should go to see a psychiatrist. No facts can help them.
Charkov Genakin: Nobody but them knows what organization they have ever joined.
Vladimir Golubev: My 92-year-old mother died in 2005. Before she died, she asked us to place her Communist Party membership certificate insider her grave. Why should I make a decision for her now?
Anatoly Ossowski: If more than one hundred million members have quit the CPC, how many members did the CPC have?
Charkov Genakin replied to Anatoly Ossowski: Many! So those dead former members all hope to give up their CPC membership after their death. Those who make announcements may have some supernatural powers.
Nina Kirowa: No wonder that the necromancy programs are introduced by NTDTV, possibly for the sake of those ghosts who don’t want to be a member of Communist Party any more.
Alexander Poliakov: A dead dog is helped to quit the Communist Party. It’s something never heard of.
Kapochka: They have no excuse to make announcements on quitting the Communist Party for their dead relatives. Did they get any authorization from their dead relatives? I joined the Young Pioneer and Youth League, but I have no intention to quit these organizations. My father joined the Communist Party on the battlefield. His membership remained valid until he left this world.
Walter Walterson: They’re a gang of cowards, betrayers and heartless people. So they deserve nothing but rejection from us.
“Master” Li Hongzhi’s quotations
Some Dafa followers “invented” a “good method” for dead people to quit the Communist Party, but some of them are “rash”, so they wanted to have instructions from Li Hongzhi in case their behaviors are inconsistent with Dafa.
Dafa follower: Some Dafa followers want to quit the Communist Party in the name of their dead relatives. Do you think it possible?
Li : “Sure, no problem! Anyway the dead can’t make public announcements on www.epochtimes.com. (guffawing) (applauding) Ok, does it work? Yes (applauding).” (an excerpt from the U.S. Western International Meeting of Falun Gong on February 26, 2005).
Falun Gong’s practice of making announcements on quitting the Communist Party in the name of dead people continued until November 2016. This column was removed and the related webpages have been incorporated into the “Archive” section in 2017, where we can view the related content and draw some conclusions, and also gain an insight into the mentality of those practitioners.
The webpages showing the public announcements are nowhere to be found, but the Falun Gong followers arranged the forwarded announcements on their forum. Falun Gong doesn’t claim itself as “a cult and a political organization”. Its devoted believers do not intend to stop their “three-withdrawal” activity in the name of dead people, but their trick of deceiving the public is played only in the presence of “ordinary people”.
