To The Daily Sun,
I refer to the following Daily Sun headlines of recent months:
"Community troubled by white nationalist graffiti at the Laconia State School" March 23, updated Aug. 30.
"Charles Bradley III: White nationalism the proud bedrock on which this country stands."
Mr. Bradley can believe whatever he wants, and is free to do so. His vitriol and animosity toward Democrats is well noted. I am not a Republican or a Democrat. I am not an atheist or a religious zealot, just a person who believes in God as the supreme being, the designer of all things.
Now Mr. Bradley writes referring to the Epoch Times as "today's newspaper of record." This publication is described in Wikipedia as a far-right international multinational newspaper associated with the Falun Gong new religious movement. It platforms far-right politicians in Europe, and has supported former President Donald Trump in the U.S. The Epoch Media Group's news sites have promoted conspiracies such as QAnon, anti-vaccine misinformation, and false claims of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
Later, Wikipedia has a whole section on pro-Trump conspiracy theories and disinformation, beginning with "The Epoch Times has promoted an array of pro-Donald Trump conspiracies, and is known as one of Trump's closest media allies and defenders."
Your readers can believe what they wish, but they ought to at least read the Wikipedia account, and the section following the pro-Trump conspiracy theories, titled "COVID-19 coverage and misinformation" is a real blast. I encourage readers to look at that.
In 2014, The New York Times said The Epoch Times had edged toward being a respectable news outlet, before it changed course in 2015 and 2016 to focus on viral content and a "Trump pivot."
Oh! Those Trump pivots.
