Young piano virtuoso Lang Lang performs in his solo concert in Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Sunday, January 6, 2008. Lang Lang didn't speak a word throughout the two-hour show. Instead, he led the 10,000 or so audience members through a musical journey loaded with both Chinese and Western classics. The 25-year-old musician headed for Xi'an from Beijing, where he had highlighted a New Year's concert at the newly-opened National Grand Theater. [Photo huash.com]
