The most famous figure from Finland, Santa Claus, visited the World Expo Park in Shanghai on Tuesday in preparation for next year's events, eastday.com reports.
Santa Claus, standing at the construction site for the Finland Pavilion's sauna bath, invited visitors to enjoy an authentic sauna at the Finland Pavilion next year.
In addition, a special post office will be set up at the pavilion so visitors can interact with Santa Claus and send a card with his postmark. Before, only tourists to his hometown of Rovaniemi in Finland could do that.
During his stay at the Expo Park, Santa Claus told reporters that children's favorite gifts are neither chocolate nor video games, but the company of their parents. Therefore, he suggested all parents take their children to visit the World Expo in 2010.
