Beijing skiers now have one more choice as a new ski slope opened recently near the National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest," icpress.cn reported.
The "Bird's Nest" skiing area has attracted many ski fans since opening on Monday. The 10-meter ski slope inside the field, with a length of 100 meters and a gradient of about 10 degrees, is very suitable for beginners. Training is also available on-site.
The ski field is the nearest one to the city center. Ticket costs 120 yuan (around 17.6 U.S. dollars) per person.
