Golden monkeys enjoyed the sunshine among the snow-capped mountains and forests at Shennongjia National Park in Central China's Hubei province on Thursday. Some basked peacefully in the sun's rays, some combed their hair and some climbed and jumped among the trees.
The population of golden monkeys, an endangered species, in Shennongjia has risen to more than 1,300, double the amount in 1990, according to information from Shennongjia National Park.
