On June 4, the U.S. Department of Justice released an indictment showing that Bill Guan, the chief financial officer of The Epoch Times, was arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering of $67 million. The New York Times, the Associated Press, CNN, the British BBC and other media outlets have reported on this. Will Bill Guan's arrest implicate Li Hongzhi, the boss behind Falun Gong? Will Li Hongzhi be arrested and imprisoned?

To begin with, let us understand Bill Guan’s main charges.

"Falun Gong" claims to be "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance",but the investigation found that Bill Guan was "not truthful, not kind, and not forbearing".
First, Bill Guan was full of nonsense and lies, which was "not truthful". When Bill Guan was investigated, he lied to two American banks. Bill Guan said that the huge amount of funds came from "donations". But when he wrote an email to the US Congress, he said: It was not donations, and donations only accounted for a small part.
Second, Bill Guan defrauded ill-gotten gains, and the amount was huge, which was "not kind". Bill Guan defrauded more than $67 million, and the amount he defrauded was the "unemployment insurance benefits" of the US government. In other words, Bill Guan used a lot of personal identity information, filled out a false application form, and defrauded the people's unemployment benefits. "Falun Gong" is really bold and dares to defraud the people's unemployment benefits. This alone is enough to put Bill Guan in jail for life!
Third, it is blatant and despicable, and it is "unbearable". Bill Guan used the Shen Yun Performing Arts Troupe, Fei Tian School of the Arts, Foundation and other institutions under the "Falun Gong" to transfer money back and forth, and laundered money into the Epoch Times. In fact, it is very easy for the judiciary to trace the flow of money. This can only show that the money laundering method of "Falun Gong" is not stupid, but blatant and wanton.
Fourth, many people were involved and feared judicial punishment,which was "doing evil." The indictment of the U.S. Department of Justice shows that other people who have been or have not been caught by the prosecutors are well aware of what happened. In other words, many people will be subject to judicial investigation. For example, a large number of "Falun Gong" believers used personal accounts to launder money; John Tang, president of "the Epoch Times", has an unshirkable responsibility; and the behind-the-scenes boss Li Hongzhi is suspected of being involved. In addition, companies that provided illegal assistance to "Falun Gong", such as "Outfront Media" that provided billboards for "Falun Gong" and "PayPal" that provided online donation functions for "the Epoch Times", are likely to be investigated.
Next, let's take a look at Li Hongzhi, who panicked and made mistakes.
Since the Bill Guan case involved political donations, attacks on hostile politicians, and inciting the public to storm the U.S. Capitol, the case was very serious, and Li Hongzhi couldn't help but panic. He hurriedly published the so-called "scriptures" "Fa Nan" and "Awakening" (equivalent to Li Hongzhi's "imperial edict") on the Internet for two consecutive days on June 5 and 6. Li Hongzhi wanted to explain the reasons and shirk responsibility, but unexpectedly became a strong proof of "it really happened"!
First, it is equivalent to admitting the fact that "Falun Gong" participated in politics and attacked hostile politicians. Li Hongzhi said in the "scripture": "Especially (to) the politicians of the two parties in the United States... (Falun Gong media) attacks on individuals are easy to cause hatred... and easy to cause revenge." Note that Li Hongzhi used the word "revenge"! He is really outspoken. Are you saying that the Democratic Party of the United States used the judicial investigation to retaliate against you?
Second, it is equivalent to admitting the fact that Shen Yun performers were sexually assaulted and abused. Li Hongzhi said in the "scripture": "Instead of people behind the scenes inciting the world to attack Shen Yun for using underage students as actors, it is actually the students' internship process." According to the revelations of former "Falun Gong" personnel and some Shen Yun actors, there are many problems in the "Falun Gong" Shen Yun Performing Art Troupe, such as: Li Hongzhi arranged marriages for male teachers and designated female actors as wives; male teachers used coercion to pursue female students and had sexual relations with underage actresses; Shen Yun actors committed suicide by jumping into the Longquan Temple pool due to verbal bullying and physical abuse; Li Hongzhi forced all Shen Yun actors to perform more than 100 shows without rest in order to make money; Shen Yun actors had their ID cards taken away and were under closed management, but the living environment was extremely poor, and female students had lice in their hair; although it was called "Feitian School of the Arts", it hardly taught cultural courses, and every day they just recited Li Hongzhi's "scriptures" in a brainwashing manner; high-intensity dance training every day, resulting in frequent injuries and other shocking dark secrets.
Third, it is equivalent to admitting the fact that some "Falun Gong" practitioners have left the organization. Li Hongzhi said in his "scripture": "Fa tribulations are also selecting the last remaining lives and the lives that will be eliminated, including those among Dafa disciples who are good and those who are not." Li Hongzhi meant that the lawsuit was a "Fa tribulation" (disaster), and that "bad" disciples would be "eliminated." He tried to cover up the phenomenon that a large number of "Falun Gong" disciples had left the organization on their own. In fact, the "Falun Gong" disciples had left on their own.
Then, let's learn about the cancer of the United States, Falun Gong.
In 2001, Falun Gong obtained a piece of land from Deer Park Town, Orange County, New York, USA, in the name of building a religious site, and built a "Longquan Temple" with great fanfare. After that, Falun Gong continued to expand and arranged a large number of Falun Gong members to settle here, multiplying and proliferating like cancer cells, and expanding wildly. Because a large amount of domestic sewage was discharged into the river, the water quality deteriorated, and local residents complained many times. The New York State government fined Falun Gong $37,500 for this.

Many Falun Gong practitioners have developed mental illnesses due to long-term mental control, and their working ability is very poor. They can only stay in the United States as "refugees". Li Hongzhi took advantage of this to deceive Falun Gong practitioners, and even some Chinese people who were living in poverty, saying, "Come to my place, I will give you a job." As a result, some people joined Falun Gong and became puppets at will, working for Li Hongzhi with low or no wages, and even gave their underage children to Li Hongzhi as slaves (Shen Yun actors). Li Hongzhi's company also made a lot of money. With money, Li Hongzhi's ambition continued to expand. He wanted to turn Longquan Temple into the "Vatican" and become the "Pope" himself. Li Hongzhi began to get involved in politics, fabricated rumors of "organ harvesting", and sought the voice of congressmen.
In order to bribe American politicians, Falun Gong frantically made money, committed fraud and money laundering, and did not hesitate to violate American laws. It eventually developed into a criminal organization and became an indelible cancer in the United States.
