WeChat officially announced the launch of a new feature: voice messages can now be replayed at an accelerated speed from Monday.

WeChat now offers a speed-up playback feature for voice messages to address user frustration with lengthy messages. 

Users can access this feature by updating WeChat to version 8.0.55 and beyond. When replaying a voice message, simply click the "Speed-Up Playback" button next to the speech bubble in the chat.

1. Voice messages can be accelerated after being replayed or transcribed into text.

2. Users can adjust the playback speed to 1.5x or return to the original speed.
