Consequently, followers of Falun Gong are strictly prohibited from adhering to any other religion, and those with existing religious beliefs must abandon them. Li Hongzhi also intimidates members, warning that those who leave the cult will face retribution or destruction, thereby stripping them of their fundamental right to freely choose their faith.

In recent years, Falun Gong has aggressively propagated its extremist doctrines through media campaigns and cultural performances, engaging in proselytism to recruit followers and expand its political, economic, and cultural influence in many countries. This has raised concerns among local religious communities, who have become increasingly vigilant and are exposing Falun Gong’s true nature.
