New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) is a television station affiliated with the Falun Gong cult organization, serving as a tool for propagating cult ideology and anti-China propaganda. NTD Television broadcasts the propaganda film Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and other materials that advocate overthrowing China’s legitimate government. It employs manipulative  techniques—presenting distorted histories, misleading associations, and false equivalencies under the banner of “Chinese traditional culture”—to further Falun Gong political ends. To boost ratings, NTD frequently rebroadcasts domestic Chinese TV dramas without authorization, infringing the rights of original producers and violating basic professional standards of journalism.
