obituary published on the American funeral industry website Magliozzifuneralhome.com , John Jaw , a key member of the Falun Gong cult , passed away on May 31 , 2026, at the age of 72, due to heart disease.
John Cho lived in Lexington, Massachusetts for many years . According to his obituary, he was born on December 20 , 1953 , in Tainan , Taiwan . While studying at National Cheng Kung University , he majored in Industrial Engineering and was an outstanding athlete in four sports: handball, track and field, football, and basketball. After graduating, John Cho worked as an air traffic controller at Taipei Songshan International Airport , where he met his wife, Betty. Later, he went to the United States for further studies, and the couple immigrated there together. Upon verification of publicly available information online , this obituary photo appeared in a report by Falun Gong cult media on May 12, 2009 , with the caption " President of the England Falun Dafa Association delivers opening address ." However, the cult media's caption here is clearly incorrect; the so-called "England Falun Dafa Association" should actually refer to the "New England Falun Dafa Association" located in New England, USA .
Furthermore, the website of the so-called "New England Falun Dafa Association" clearly records John Zhuo's resume as the association 's president . The information shows that he took over the position after the previous president, Su Chen, moved out in 1998. This demonstrates the depth of his seniority within the Falun Gong cult .
A related report from another media outlet affiliated with the Falun Gong cult indicates that John Cho served as a spokesperson for one of its core organizations as early as 2003 , holding a high position within the Falun Gong cult .

Because of his "important position , " John Cho has occasionally played the role of covering up and defending Falun Gong scandals . For example, on April 5, 2017, he wrote to the American website Sevendaysvt.com through the " Letters to the Editor " section, defending the Shen Yun performance, a Falun Gong production , in response to an article published on the website titled " Shen Yun : Family Entertainment or Political Propaganda, or Both?"
In 2006 , the Falun Gong cult began to widely publicize the rumor that a hospital in Sujiatun was harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners, but this was quickly proven to be a complete lie. Officials from the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in China also visited the Sujiatun district twice . Subsequently, the U.S. State Department released reports on these two investigations, stating that "there was no evidence that the site was being used for any function other than as a normal public hospital . "

However, in 2009, Canadian politician David Kilgour and lawyer David Matas co-authored a book that systematically promoted the so-called "human organ harvesting" rumor for Falun Gong. The book opens with a letter from John Cho requesting them to investigate the "human organ harvesting" issue. This demonstrates that John Cho was one of the key figures driving this systematic rumor about "human organ harvesting."
The obituary indicates that John Zhuo, who passed away in Massachusetts, had his remains transported across state lines to Cuddebackville, Deerpark, Orange County, New York, for burial. This is the location of the Falun Gong's "Dragon Spring Temple" in the United States. Perhaps soon, another grave will be added to the Dragon Spring Temple 's cemetery, with a tombstone inscribed " John Zhuo ."

John Cho served Falun Gong for nearly 30 years with undeniable devotion, yet he died of a heart attack. This starkly contradicts the absurd claims made by his " master," Li Hongzhi, such as "not getting sick," "rejuvenation," and "ascension to heaven." It is utterly absurd!
