Many people worship gods, but nobody knows which gods are true and which are false. Believing in false gods will harm people, while believing in a true god will protect us. There is only one 'true god', who is the 'female Christ descended to earth', named 'Almighty God,' the savior." She then took out a book titled "The Word Appears in the Flesh" and said, "I give this book to you to help you accept God's salvation. This is the first and last time God does such a work of salvation. If you miss this chance, you will have no other opportunity but regret in hell when the disaster comes." She then took out an MP3 player and played some apocalyptic horror videos, claiming that "those who believe in 'Almighty God' will go to heaven and live an 'eternal life', while those who do not believe will go to hell and be punished."

As Xu Xiong attended more gatherings outside and repeatedly read books and watched videos produced by the "Church of Almighty God", he was completely blinded by the cult's fallacious teachings.
