On June 25, 1998, Yuan Yuge, a 35-year-old woman living in Renqiu City of Hebei Province, claimed that she would become a fairy or a Buddha in a wandering state. Then she got on a bicycle with her son and jumped into the moat. The child was injured but alive, and then, ran back home for help. Her family rescued Yuan from the moat and sent her to the hospital for emergency treatment. Ever since Yuan began to practice Falun Gong with his husband in 1997, a good family had no longer stayed in harmony as before. The husband and wife not only practice Falun Gong themselves, but also forced their 10-year-old son to practice together.
