He said to others that his wife Li Xiaofen was a big snake in her previous life in his dreams the night before last and transformed from a poisonous snake in this life. And he wailed at home.
At 10:00 am on the 6th, Gao said, "Man's nature at birth is good. You don't even learn and understand it. My thought reaches the supreme state only after a years studying of Falun Gong." After that, Gao returned home and went upstairs, practicing first and then, jumped off from the fourth floor with his son Gao Xiong in his arms, throwing on the ground. The industrial and commercial adiministration department immediately called the doctor for emergency treatment. His wife Li Xiaofeng did not allow the rescue, and assumed that Li Hongzhi could protect him. The treatment did not work and Gao died, but the child was rescued and came through.
From November 1997, Gao and his wife Li Xiaofeng began to practice Falun Gong. They persisted to practice every morning and evening, becoming silent and seldom associating with others. They firmly believed that when Falun Gong practice reached a certain state, as Li Hongzhi described, "one's energy, spirit and Qi would concentrate at the center of the body" and gradually form a human-like entity that resembles oneself, and one would be able to "return to his simple and true nature", "rise up to heaven" and "preserve the soul forever".
