On the morning of April 8, 1998, Wang Anshou, male, 36, a worker of the Taishan Mechanical Factory in Xintai City, Shangdong Province was practicing Falun Gong. His father stopped him and said he should go to work in the morning. He was angered to grasp a shoulder-pole and a shovel, then hit this father for more than one hundred times until the old man died.
Wang began to practice Falun Gong in January 1998. After practicing for 3 months, Wang, once a filial son, took his father and wife as reincarnations of tiger and fox. According to diagnosis, he was ill with serious schizophrenia and was sent to be treated at the mental health center. Yang Lizhong ,the doctor in charge of his case, said: "Wang Anshou had hallucinations and delusions at that time. He regarded his father as reincarnation of a tiger and his wife a fox. So he killed his father."
